My father recorded Michigan replays from 1982-1994. Marriage and kids kinda distracted him for a while (obviously). I started recording them again as a kid in 2003 when I fell in love with M football. It's too bad I don't have any episodes from 97 or 99

I miss this show, I admit it.

What makes me feel a bit old is that Jim Brandstatter was my age at this point in the show and yet I still remember these episodes in this era being appointment viewing in my house. We would gather around the family room TV (remember when a 28" Zenith from Highland was the shit or close to it?) and eat breakfast with Michigan Replay.

Thank you! Great memories! What hardware/software do you use to do these conversions? I have a lot of vhs recordings of games that I'd like to transfer...

I purchased a VHS digital converter for 20$ that connects a VHS recorder to the computer and makes a digital file. Then use a media editing software such as arcsoft to cut and paste the footage. It's actually very simple to use and converted about 30 VHS tapes in about a month

That 1988 Michigan Replay highlight tape could be my favorite 60 minutes of Michigan Football-related footage out there. Damn near wore out my VHS copy, glad it's back on YouTube.
