1988 Hall of Fame Bowl videos
This is one of my favorite bowl game finish of all time. A 20 yard TD pass from Brown to Kolesar on 4th and 3 to win it. Moeller was the coach for this game because Bo was recovering from heart surgery.

i was yelling no no no when brown faded back to pass...then euphoria. kolesar made so many big plays for UM.

A difficult task but necessary when guy you idolized when you were 13 and he was 21, but you're now 37 and 45. He was very gracious.

You could tell the boss (Bo) was away from the office . . . 4th down pass with the game on the line. It was like Moeller photocopying his bare butt on the office copier without getting caught.

Agreed. I remember watching that game, and remember being A) shocked, B) euphoric, and C) absolutely certain UM would've lost if Bo was on the sideline, because there's no way in hell he passes in that situation.
And successful or not, I've always wondered how much grief he gave Mo for running that play.
