PS-Thanks for all your Michigan Replay uploads. I had never seen the 2007 season preview episode until last night. It was interesting hearing Lloyd talk about his time in Australia with Russell Crowe.

we talk about Fort Schembechler and everything, but Bo just came out at said very frankly how he felt about the QB situation after the 1987 ND game.  It's weird watching an interview where the coach isn't 100% doublespeak.

87 was a rough year. Demetrius Brown was extremely frustrating. Talented but inexperienced. They got smoked by the golden domers in the opener and it went down hill from there

Well, at that time 4 loss seasons and bad losses to MSU and OSU we're not acceptable. Maybe you've become used to the Nichigan football we've seen the last 7 years.

I consider seven turnovers at MSU, losing to IU, which has happened twice in my lifetime, and blowing a big lead at the big house vs OSU in the already fired Earl Bruce's last game getting worse. So that's downhill to me.

Some notes about those 3 Big Ten losses. MSU - 7 turnovers was horrible. If it were 6 turnovers, we probably would have won. At the end of the game, we were driving, down 6, and Greg McMurtry was absolutely wide open in the end zone. All Demetrious had to do was look his way and we win that game by 1. Instead, he threw pick #7. INDIANA - Believe it or not, we were underdogs in this one. We were ranked 20th, IU was ranked 15th. Still, we had a 10-7 lead in the 4th quarter but the Hoosiers blocked a punt and recovered it in the end zone for the game winning score. OSU - The Bucks were not good and we were huge favorites. Earl Bruce had already been fired the week before the game. OSU players wore headbands in honor of him, had much more to play for. We lose by 3. A couple weeks later, Bo had his second heart attack. It was a time where 8-4 was considered bottom of the barrel but that team had key components they needed to replace. Despite this, they had chances to win in every one of their conference losses and couldn't pull them out. The next season, they started a string of 5 straight Big Ten titles.

I really like the older Michigan Replays with the stadium and areas around the stadium, along with the players running onto the field in the intro. I think they changed the intro to the drawings on Jim and Bo after the '83 season.
