WCBNSports is broadcasting here. Better than Bucci.
this is like the Wisconsin series...not looking good on the road, but coming back home and playing better at Yost
and we need the sweep I think. Not sure a split will cover it. Just a gut feeling.
I appreciate Buccigross' love and support for college hockey, but he seems much better as an anchor than as a play-by-play guy
This is an un-fun hockey thread
Why can't the BTN or ESPN find camermen who can shoot hockey. It's awful again
ESPN News still exists?! Jackpot. I first flipped to Big Ten Network only to be disappointed and see bball, but ESPN comes through.
Another dual hockey night watching Michigan and the Wings.
Our ranking just changed mid-game. ESPN switched it from #11 to #13 on the ticker
Really outplaying Minnesota right now. Wilcox has been excellent unfortunately
Dominated the first 10 minutes, let it a goal on Minnesota's 3rd or 4th shot
0-1 Minnesota
a lot of pressure, some decent chances....then what looked like yet another weak goal given up by Nagelvoort....this is not looking good
That goal really took the life out of our sails. We were playing great at first; a lot of energy, but that goal just killed it
I'm not at home, and WatchESPN isn't working for me.
There's a streamtorrent at the link below but otherwise I didn't see anything
Evan Allen! 1-1
It seems like the sound ratio between the play-by-play and the arena noise favors the PBP too much. I wish there was more crowd noise in the broadcast
I like when you can turn the volume up and it seems like you are actually in the arena
I imagine FCC rules regarding Obscenity prevent the broadcasters from allowing too much crowd noise.
HUGE goal
Whether he's just a marked man now or whether he really deserves them I don't know, but he takes some kind of roughing/checking penalty every single game now
Looks like a rough call on replay
that was nowhere near charging
post to post by Nagelvoort
I was certain that was a goal when I saw it slip across the crease
COPP!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT PASS
WE CONVERTED A TWO-ON-ONE! WE CONVERTED A TWO-ON-ONE! WE CONVERTED A TWO-ON-ONE! WE CONVERTED A TWO-ON-ONE! WE CONVERTED A TWO-ON-ONE! WE CONVERTED A TWO-ON-ONE! WE CONVERTED A TWO-ON-ONE! WE CONVERTED A TWO-ON-ONE! WE CONVERTED A TWO-ON-ONE!
I know that was technically a 2-on-2 but the pass was that pass we never ever convert anymore
Go Blue!!!
Hell yes
We controlled play but for the Minnesota goal and the few minutes between that and our 1st goal. Looking good

This is pretty awesome getting Turco for this interview. You don't see this often
Marty Turco is at the game. Being interviewed at the intermission.
This is a big game for us. Hopefully we will stay focused. Having Mac back will help. Band sounds good.
The announcers love the band too.
but I thought that was an awesome interview. A lot of insight you rarely ever get in college hockey broadcasts. You dont normally know when the alums are in town
The history of Michigan Hockey is a large part of what makes it so great. I'm glad the alums come back. Nice interview.
Michigan 11-2-2 when leading after one. Statistical conflict for the PBP guys
He should try checking more often
Beautiful tic-tac-toe pass and Wilcox just got it. Nearly 3-1
Guptill has definitely been better since he was a healthy scratch. Wise move by Red
#12 Vermont up 1-0 on #8 UML
#2 BC up 1-0 on #9 Notre Dame
#10 NoDak tied 0-0 with CC
#11 Providence up 2-0 on Maine
#13 Cornell up 1-0 on Clarkson
So no one is doing us any favors so far
Minnesota dropping some serious bombs on Nagelvoort. Nothing too close fortunately
Clear the zone!
Edit: And one of the two inevitable results occurred, fortunately just a penalty instead of a goal. Way too flat flooted back there
insight and updates, Gordon!
You know your hockey!
