#13 Michigan Hockey vs #1 Minn Thread

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

A split this weekend and a win over PSU in the B1G Tournament First Round could get Michigan a sure spot in the NCAA Tournament.

Maybe.

Game is at 6:30 on ESPNEWS.

Win The Game!

I thought a sweep or maybe 4 or 5 points would sneak us in. Now it's going to be really tough even with a split.

Sad that we'll probably miss the tournament two straight years. Just sweeping PSU and not choking our 3-1 lead at MSU probably means this is just a blip

A ghost was going to cover the loose man Two straight games with very deflating losses. At least get a tie Both games they only scored in the first and can't hold leads Young team and it shows

  1. Michigan lost because I Bleed Maize & Blue wasn't commenting in the thread.
  2. Hopefully the guys can win Red's last game at Yost, tomorrow.
  3. Yost has lost all the intimidation factor it had.

I didn't even yell SHIT! or FUCK! when minnesota scored. I just sat in silence. And when they scored the OT goal, I just got up, marked the result on the schedule and moved on.

Sad that I'm going into games expecting disaster.

I never said it was the student's fault.

The reduced capacity as a result of the renovations has something to do with it.

Along with, well, a consistent team. Decent home record this year but it's just missing something, the atmosphere is.

After going to a few games this year one last year for the first time 2009 I would say this is true. The atmosphere just seems artificial to me now. And in the sections I've been in people don't participate in cheers at all.

If the team can't beat PSU when I'm posting, what hope is there against the #1 team? I had some when we tied it up and took the lead, but when we couldn't extend that, a feeling of impending doom arose. I felt like MN was going to find a way to score.

I lament the losses to PSU & FYS, which left us needing to sweep the #1 team - a too-tall task. So that leaves winning the conference tournament again, I suppose?

yes, it was a penalty, but, with about 3 minutes left they tackled our guy around the net, no call, mentioned at the time by announcers as would have been a penalty in the first period

zebras cost us

they owe us for tomorrow
