120th Anniversary of Michigan vs. Chicago: First Game w/ Covered Field
Article from Chicago tribune. The game didn't go to the "yellow and blue" but is an interesting read nonetheless. Maroons had one heck of a drop kick goal in the game (40yds). Allegedly this is the first football game played at a site with coverage to protect fans from the elements.
