This fourth quarter's gonna be damn good

Tough break for Oregon

What a punt!
January 2nd, 2016 at 9:46 PM ^
I have an observation from the Orange Bowl. Clemson girls are HAWT.

Horny And Want To?
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:11 PM ^
Hopefully
January 2nd, 2016 at 9:53 PM ^
Just when you think Oregon can put one away, Vernon Adams and the center come out, backups go in and then you have what amounts to absolute silence from the Ducks' offense. Meanwhile, TCU is making this into what could be a very interesting fourth quarter indeed.
....and Kohlhausen again makes Oregon's secondary look like it is allergic to pass coverage. Unbelievable.
January 2nd, 2016 at 9:53 PM ^
That loudmothed Oregon fan is on my last damned nerve.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:01 PM ^
Yeesh,at what point do you just put the QB under center?
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:03 PM ^
Not that simple for Oregon. They don't practice doing that, so a fumbled snap would be just as likely if not more so.

I know, I wasn't serious, just commenting on how ridiculously bad the snaps have been.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:17 PM ^
I actually thought the last snap was halfway decent. A little low, but Lockie just botched it. If he was oregons QB all year they would have about 4 wins.

So does this second half mean that if both teams had to play their backup QB, tcu would win by 40?

My unscientific estimate: 97.8% of neutral fans are hoping TCU scores on this drive.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:10 PM ^
At least TCU is making this bowl game slightly interesting.
They should have gone for it last possession though.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:12 PM ^
Nah, they had to get some points out of that drive and it was like 4th and 10.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:16 PM ^
Ah, I was only half-watching, thought it was 4th and 3 for some reason. Yeah, I suppose.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:10 PM ^
Mr. Yost must be glued to his TV right now after all the hype he had for TCU and Oregon.
Gary Patterson man... great coach.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:21 PM ^
I know you're joking.
But my whole point was that I wanted to see a healthy Boykin versus a healthy Adams. You joke doesn't make sense because Boykin never played, thus my excitement for this came was lost the moment he struck that cop.

This game has gotten really good!

Holy crap at least there has been one good game

The first good game ALL YEAR. I thought it would be "2016- The year of Blowout Blue Bloods"

Here at the tail end of the bowl season we finally get an interesting game.

This is incredible.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:19 PM ^
Wow. Break Oregon's QB and all of a sudden they can't do anything right.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:19 PM ^
Get yer popcorn ready.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:19 PM ^
That stat shows you everything you need to know. And people were saying Adams sucked on this blog. Look at the impact he's had and not had on this game.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:20 PM ^
Mack Brown just said Oregon should go under center.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:21 PM ^
This is why you develop backup QBs....and Centers.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:21 PM ^
OMG WTF is Oregon doing with those passes??

They would've been better of taking a knee lol

Unbelieveable. Helfrich is Hoke.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:27 PM ^
prior to this game...
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:22 PM ^
Oregon is COLLAPSING.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:22 PM ^
I swear Lockie and whoever TCU's 2nd stringer is are the worst QBs ever. Put in the 3rd stringer maybe he'll do something like TCU's
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:22 PM ^
I understand passing on third and long... But on second down ehhhh

I bet many people gave up on this game and didn't even see all of this comeback. I just really got back to watching it myself.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:24 PM ^
Who knew changing a shirt would have such a positive impact on your players during halftime lol
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:24 PM ^
This Oregon backup QB is having a worse performance than Russell Bellomy vs. Neb.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:24 PM ^
Oregon's had backup QB issues dating back at least to the days of Dennis Dixon. He was on his way to the Heisman, and Oregon was on their way to a NC game when his knee went "pop". They promptly fell apart that year. Things haven't changed one bit.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:24 PM ^
AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!-
-Oregon fan since 2008
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:26 PM ^
Oregon should start using timeouts.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:26 PM ^
A good friend of mine's wife went to Oregon. She is the biggest fan. They are pissed right now.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:26 PM ^
Is there a single game in which Gary Patterson doesn't outcoach the opposing coach?
Jesus Christ LOL
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:35 PM ^
That was actually pretty bad clock management on the last drive by TCU. They should've had another timeout and should've run the ball on 3rd down to get 1st and goal
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:36 PM ^
The Michigan-TCU game that may or may not happen in some future year
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:27 PM ^
Would this be the largest bowl comeback ever? I know Minnesota blew a monster lead once in the Mason era but forget how much it was.
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:30 PM ^
Frank Reich lead Maryland back from something like 31-0 for Maryland vs. the U in 1984
Sparty had a 35 pt comeback vs. NW in 2006
January 2nd, 2016 at 10:54 PM ^
Frank Reich was the master of the comeback. He also led the Bills to the largest comeback win in NFL history.
