'11 MI RB Justice Hayes pulls a triple McGuffie

I came across this video of 2011 instate RB Justice Hayes hurdling 3 players at once. Something even the great white hype never did.

I routinely +1 myself in memory of em0, may he RIP

Right now I'd probably put him in that spot, but a guy like a Jeron Clayton (AA Pioneer) could catch up to him. Clayton would be an excellent fit for a spread offense.......

Clayton will be just one of a few guys I'll profile this week sometime. I'll be covering all the prospects of note in the Big Day Prep Showdown at Rynearson Stadium which takes place Friday and Saturday.

Powers Catholic is notorious for using undersized, but extremely quick, athletes on the DL. You probably noticed the pint sized NT trying to run Hayes down on the sideline. Undersized DE/DT is giving 50 at least, probably closer to 75+, lbs to the LG. That might account for the bouncing off. Anyway, I for one, am impressed by the elite level speed the NT possessed. We should probably recruit him. He can always move to slot, right?

Justice Hayes could well be the top sophomore running back in Michigan. He plays for a Grand Blanc team loaded with young talent, including classmate Ryan Morley, who could be the top sophomore QB in the state and talented Class of 2010 WR Tony Jones. As a reslt, his touches were relatively limited, howev er there is no denying his ability.

Just take a look at this YouTube clip, where he gives his best Sam McGuffie impersonation.

Below is an extract from my database on Justice.

Justice Hayes RB/WR 5′11 168 4.55 Grand Blanc Michigan

One of the top sophomores in Michigan……………Sophomore starter at RB and through 8 games he had 151 carries for 1,082 yards (7.17ypc) and 5 TDs and 20 receptions for 207 yards and 1 TD………..Changed his name from Will McDaniel to Justice before his sophomore season……………..A very quick and elusive RB who has excellent lateral movement and exceptional ball skills. A hard worker and an enthusiastic player. Needs to fill out to be an every down back, but has a lot of upside due to his great speed……………He was impressive at the June 2008 Southwest/Midwest NUC Ultimate 100 in DeSoto, Texas (RB MVP)………….Impressive at the April 27, 2008 Detroit NUC and was invited to participate at the Ultimate 100 NUC

For what I expected out of the video, it wasn't that great. It was basically him hurdling one guy on the ground and one guy standing up. Still impressive, but I don't even see the third guy he hurdled, or how it can really be looked at that way. I guess the person that made the vid thought the guy that dove at Justice from behind was being hurdles, but he really wasn't. Whatever, still a good play.
