Well hell... Adding to my anxiety further... Haven't had the privilege of attending a game in years and heading up today from SEC country with friends to show them what a real rivalry is like. So, what is the best recommendations for parking now? I was looking at Pioneer, and as I read it, it's $50 and gates open at 6? Any other recommendations would be appreciated. Haven't been back since Hoke's first game and very much looking forward to it.

I live near bagger daves on Eisenhower and have walked directly to games from there. It's about a 40 minute walk. But free and not that bad to me.

You can still park at the Michigan golf course. Some may or may not know that Ann Arbor Golf and Outing is a separate golf 9-hole golf course than the Michigan golf course. Conveniently they are located directly next to each other just to confuse people.

I have to take stock of my yard but I may have a few spots. It's really wet here in Ann Arbor and don't want what's left of lawn totally annihilated. I'm suspecting all grassy areas of Pioneer and both golf courses to be closed. I will post later--may be able to accommodate some cars here on Hutchins

The rain is starting to taper off here, but the damage is done, especially in low and poor drainage areas - like my backyard. Indeed, my neighbor very foolishly decided to park his 1990 Cherokee in the portion of his yard where there was once a garage and it has sunk a good 2-3 inches - we could probably get it out of there in March....with the help of a tow chain. It would just be a non-starter on the golf course.

Email just sent out included this....
One issue we face is just how wet the golf course parking areas might become with this week's snow and ensuing rain Friday. While no rain is forecast for Saturday's game, wet grounds could impact our ability to ease the congestion. So go to MGoBlue.com and our social media platforms (@umichathletics and @umichfootball on Twitter) before you depart home; we'll post updates on the status of the opening parking at the golf course as soon as possible. We will also notify our local media, including radio stations.
