Also...Oklahoma/Texas Tech had a hour and a half delay so they're only in the 3rd quarter. However, they'll be switching the game to FOX News because the World Series at 7:30p.

thanks for showing up, I'm still so mad Hoke gave that game away like that, never, ever coach scared....ever!!!

Our program will be fine, just not enough veterans on the team yet, one more year I guess.

What are the chances of us going undefeated the rest of the way? If we did, we would be 13-1, too bad it looks like that's a tall order right now

Hey Urban...you're challenging the spot on a Penn State 4th down attempt while up 56-7 in the 3rd quarter?

Just total low class dude.

Nope. Just pissed off all over again watching a coach with brains take advantage of something our OC refused to do and then mocked in his presser the next day.

For anyone who missed it when Heiko asked Al why he didn't call any bubble screens when PSU left the wide outs uncovered, Al sneered at him "bubble scenes? That's YOUR answer"?

Yeah Al-watch the film of this game and what OSU did. It sure was THEIR answer.

I think we'll all admit that talking to Al Borges about offensive philosophy is going to lead him to being defensive.  Personally, I never thought he was the right hire and would be fine if he was gone tomorrow, but Heiko had to have known that asking him about a particular play after a game like that was going to lead to such a response.

Ohio State is basically mocking Penn State's defense at this point - 544 yards at the end of three quarters, and at a 9.37 yards per snap clip too. Ohio State has spread the offense out over six different receivers and three different RBs as well as having both Guiton and Miller registering rushing stats. It's a barnburner, but Ohio State just up and burned Penn State's barn, that's all.

Event: punch a girl in the face

Response: tell a booster/coach

Outcome: they will call their friends and ask them very nicely and ask them to please dismiss any charges.

Again, this was the same MSU team that scored 7 offensive points against Purdue last week and needed a WR pass to do it.  Their defense is legit, but Illinois has one of the worst defenses in the country for a reason.

So? "Youth" is a pathetic excuse I've been sick of hearing U of M fans resort to since the RR days. Plenty of teams have found success with young players and plenty more haven't had much luck even with upperclassmen. Experience and skills are great and all, but the scheme and coaching can make all the difference.

Not sure if anyone is watching the World Series, but Game 3 just had a very bizarre ending.

A walkoff obstruction call at third base resulted in the game winning run for the Cardinals. If it wasn't called an obstruction, the runner would have been out at home for the third out of the ninth inning.

I don't think I've ever seen a crazier ending in baseball.

I've watched many hours of football today, and I have seen so many bubble screens or quick 1 yards throws to the WR who then just sort of jukes or stiff arms the DB for 5-10 yards.

In every single game.

UM needs to implement this.  They've done it a couple times to Gallon, but more often if they try the short pass to him it's still 5 yards or so down the field.  Gallon would be a beast on that pass at the line of scrimage.  And it would so help our running game b/c the defense would have to honor it.

I know this is all canon already for the board, but I've seen it so often today and it just sort of jumped out at me - b/c it's been prominent in every single game I've seen all damn day.

And with Gallon (or Norfleet or even Dileo)?  That would be so dangerous.
