Help me out here: I started with Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA, then went to Hofbrau Original, and then a Hacker-Pschorr Weisse. I am now trying to decide between Imperial Hatter by New Holland, Rasputen Imperial Russian Stout and Samuel Smith's India Ale. What do I do!!?!

I always thought that the WE WANT SHEGOS chants were ironic.  B/c who would want shegos.  Shegos sucks.  It is an embarrassment that he is a UM alum.  He should be less concerned with people perceiving a M bias and more concerned with being an unshitty ref.  In my book he will ever be the epitome of a shitty ref.  Seriously I vow to write into my book a passage about a shitty ref named shegos who sucks at hockey, reffing, and life in general.

He will be the second worst ref, in my book, only to John Gravelese, who, in one instant, imagined a whistle that he shouldn't have been blowing in the first place and therefore, in his mind, negated a goal that Michigan scored in overtime of the playoffs, earning him the title of worst ref ever.  He sure shegosed us out of that one.

Ha but today we won anyway and red's hungry for another championship

Those are some angry announcers.  Lou went down after a blatant knee to knee and the refs called nothing.  Is it bad that I would be surprised by competence?

not neg only posters that hate Michigan,  Is that so difficult?  Why not neg posters that never donated resources to Michigan. Just a suggestion.  Might keep the grads away from the .... Not grads .. or the legit from the never graduated from UM.

That's exactly the closed-minded thinking that we dislike around here. Also talking about negs and points isn't really a substantial topic on its own.

We take all types. I'm a Michigan student so I'm not technically a grad yet. We have some high school or other-college kids that love UM sports. We have grads from many colleges. If they love UM, it's all good.

Actually, we have regular posters who are fans of other Big Ten schools (even the hated ones) that we love to have around because they actually contribute to discussions rather than flaming or trolling.

Yes, it seems that OSU always finds a way to screw us over...even in defeat.

OSU has officially dropped out of the TUC category dropping Michigan from 6th to 10th in the PWR. In addition, it has locked OSU into the 9th spot in the CCHA, meaning they will go on the road for their first CCHA series.

I really really hate rooting for OSU, but if it helps Michigan I'm all for it. We need them to win a series in the conference tourney and maybe they can climb back above that .500 RPI again.

Otherwise, Michigan is going to need some other help to climb the PWR ladder.

Then again, if Michigan wins their next 5 games they will put themselves in a good spot for a high two or low one seed. So we really control our own destiny in a lot of ways.

i know osu losing hurts our rankings but what is nice about college hockey (and every other DI sport other than football)... the champion is crowned on the ice/field/mat/court...etc! see ya at the frozen four!

When I looked at the PWR rankings about 20 minutes after the Michigan game...we were tied for 8th with Notre Dame and Miami and yeah...

As of 12:34am...Michigan is tied for 4th(!) in the PWR rankings...

First off, yeah I know these will change depending on the results tomorrow

But still...I was not looking closely enough to see how we managed to lose OSU in the TUC and still move up to 4th with Merrimack...It all works out in the end I guess (especially if we win tomorrow), but this just took me by surprise...wow this system is fucked

The penalty kill sounded painful on the radio today, and Louie left the game early with a leg (according to the guys on the radio) injury...but Hunwick played strong and Brown continues to be red hot...Just keep winning games and all will remain well
