#10 Michigan Hockey vs Robert Morris open thread

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

In what is probably the biggest trap series ever and the toughest home non-conference games we'll see this year, Michigan takes on Robert Morris tonight.

Robert Morris is 2-0-2 on the season, with a 5-1 win over Air Force and an 8-2 win over (Michigan's next opponent) Niagara. They tied those same two teams, both by scores of 3-3.

Nice comeback, another boost to their confidence, especially being a fairly young team(again), but they can't keep putting themselves in holes like this.

A win is a win though!

Hail!!!

Usually wouldn't say this about a win against Robert Morris, but that's a really good win.  Robert Morris is the favorite to win the autobid from their conference (if Mercyhurst doesn't steal it again), and they'll wind up in the top half of the RPI, unlike most of the B1G.

I'm not gonna post during hockey games anymore, as this team has scored 4 3rd period goals twice now when I haven't. Good comeback win. Still many problems tonight, so let's just play like we did the 3rd period for the entire game tomorrow.
