That's because they happen so rarely.  You've only got 13 of them to chose from while they have 41 different losses to reflect upon.

Also - if Manball  means the return somehow of Tyronne Wheatley then I will become the Manballiest Manballer of all time.  That dude was a BEAST.

And thank you again Wolverine Historian for compiling these.  You're the best!

Pretty much all my memorable plays involve Brad Banks, Tim Dwight, Jim Boccher's special teams (the spread punt!), huge white TE's sprinting past our secondary, and Hayden Fry's shit-eating grin. But that's just me.

I would agree on #1. I mean, goodness gracious, Marquise Walker. That was a spectacular grab.

As for #5 (I believe it was that), it is hard to get enough of Tyrone Wheatley runs. Many times, you can just hear the Rose Bowl call, "Wheatley.....Wheatley explodes.....they won't catch him!"

I used to have a high res version of the Walker grab as my desktop wallpaper.  Can't find it now :(  only this low res:

Definitely in the pantheon of great WR catches.  Another from around that time was Jason Avant vs. Northwestern in 2003:

My girlfriend my senior yr in HS always cut out Wheatley's headlines and taped them up in her locker. Not pics of me, but of him!! Then I got to know him a bit when I got to Ann Arbor, then I was okay with it. He's a great guy!

Michigan was #2 playing #1 Iowa in Iowa City! It was a great defensive battle. Michigan was leading 10-9 through most of the 4th QTR then Chuck Long lead Iowa on a drive to get them in FG range! Yuck, they made the kick and won 12-10. That Michigan defense played great that year. This was after Bo's worse season 6-6 in '84 due to a rash of injuries.

was the TD that wasn't. That was only a few years or so ago. Reminded me of the olympics with East German judges. Cost us the game and thats another reason that I am not so confident about tomorrow. If they can't beat us they will pencil whip us like my Father in law used to disc golfing.

Edit- Forgive me for not getting the film for you guys I am new to this computer era.

I will never forget that grab.  That is one of the best catches you will ever see.  You have to remembe that Navarre had the touch of a rocket launcher so the fact that that pass didn't rip Walker's arm off is a feat in itself.  Just wow.
