I disagree, this is much bigger than an official visit. He is paying his own way to come visit for the BBQ. Now I will grant you that if he comes back again for an official, it would be a good thing. But visiting campus on his own dime is bigger than just an official in my opinion.

If anybody wants a nice Sunday dong punch they are replaying the Michigan State vs. Michigan game on ESPNU 7pm est.

 

I was thinking about watching it until about a minute to go in the 4th quarter then maybe catching up on my taxes or having my wife drop a bowling ball on my nuts either way I will be having more fun then watching the end of the game.

I'll take it. Just getting him on campus is a good start.

Won't put too much stock in him until I hear he wants to come back for an official visit. But if that happens, then we're really cooking with gas.
