Obviously we would (and have) wreck EMU. Though I wasn't super impressed with our defense. It was very good and we forced some TOs, however you have to remember that NW was willingly wearing down the shot clock in an attempt to limit possessions.
EDIT: And now that they are picking up the pace they are starting to get open looks. There's a little work to be done on the defensive end still.

Northwestern:
FG% - 40.9% (9-22)

FT% - 0% (they had no opportunity)
Stat of the game perhaps - zero turnovers for Michigan and one foul. Oddly enough, Northwestern has the edge on rebounds. That's about it though.

Now that we've made it to the half with one foul, I want to see us try to force a faster tempo in the second. Pressure hard, force turnovers, get out in transition. Gonna have to practice imposing our will at some point.

Yep. I'd like to see them really crank up the defensive pressure and prevent some of those open 3s. I don't think we need to help on the post as much as we have.

Yeah in the first half we forced some TOs and SCVs, but remember NW was willingly wearing down the clock to limit possessions. I thought we played good, not great defense. Gambled a few times, helped a couple times when I thought we could have stuck to shooters better.
This will be a good challenge to turn it up after NW responded out of halftime.

Agreed. I just wouldn't say it was "great" because we did give up a few wide open 3s. Plus, the SCVs were a combination of good D and NW's fear of running with us.
