HUGE win tonight.... I'm all fired up but this week is far from over. it continues tomorrow at The Joe. Hockey team REALLY needs a sweep (thurs/fri) of sparty this week to get themselves out of a scary tailspin.
well and of course there is Saturday night.

but if they really are the sacrificial lamb for making everything else in 2014 great (minus football recruiting) then I accept their fate as sacrifice.

I prefer to believe that it is about time that the hockey team got in on the action too. Hopefully they can get on a roll and make me a full fledged 2014 believer (I still don't like to talk about it much, but dear lord am I not starting that debate again). Go Blue!

It's going to be interesting. MLive had a story today and Izzo said it may be the toughest coaching decision of his career. Here's the story.

I think he will play but Michgian is going to kick their ass.

Kudos to the team.  And KUDOS to the students who were out in force tonight even with the rough weather (took over an hour from Northville).

BTW for those interested, Mitch was on the sideline in a coat and tie.  He was walking and horsing around with the players just like he did prior to the surgery.  There was no apparent struggle or tenativeness whenever he would sit down or get up from the chair.  Hopefully, this bodes well for a speedy recovery.

wouldn't be at any games soon because there were limits on how long he should sit and they didn't want him jumping up and down during the game if he got excited. Supposedly he rehab wouldn't start until around the time he could return to watch games.

I'm hoping he can get back to some light practice soon.

I made a posBANG thread about Ohio losing 3 games in a row and some stick in the mud posted that we could EASILY lose our next 3 games as well... Well, 2 games have passed since then!

I love watching this team.  They are unselfish and are really clicking.  They do need to improve their closeouts and Levert needs to play much smarter.  He is trying to play like our top player, but he really, really struggled.  The team seems to close out way short on really good shooters.  It seems almost like a lack of effort and/or coaching.  You have to close out with high hands every single time.

with State if Payne doesn't play and they would lose if Payne does play. I totally disagree. I think if Payne plays MSU will have a chance although Payne may not be extremely effective. Plantar fasciitis is painful and it sounds like if he plays he will be in extreme pain. I don't think Staee will win without him. Michigan is too much of a team and believes in itself.

I expect Nik to step to the stage Saturday. After what went down last year at Breslin and the way he's been reborn this year, look out. We all know appling can't guard a sleeping snail, can't wait for this one.
