if I could AAB. I really like that you didn't do that "/sarcasm" junk that everyone uses. It's extra funny because people with no sense of humor neg you and then in turn get negged. "/sacarasm" is like immediately explaining the punchline of a joke; in other words if your joke is good you don't need to explain it.

Exactly it would be like people assuming your pic is actually your 8th grade yearbook photo of which you are super proud....Oh unless that actually is your 8th grade yearbook photo...either way excellent pic!!

I disagree, I believe the /sarcasm tag is necessary to convey satiric intent. Who can forget the end of Jonathan Swift's classic essay, "A Modest Proposal": "I have no children by which I can propose to get a single penny; the youngest being nine years old, and my wife past child-bearing. /sarcasm"

Just getting this kid on campus is huge. I've been in Section 24 the last three games and coach B has had more big time recruits sitting in the stands this year than the FB team has (please don't read as a dig on FB recruiting.)

I love what Coach B is doing with the hoops program. I can't wait until we are back in the mix for BigTen Championships as well as National. Looks like Basketball is on its way back in A2.

I am sure he's in town following the Hoosiers. Everyone wants to join the Crean and Crimson. j/k In all seriousness......what is that below us??? Oh, its just a ceiling, that's all.

What I love about Gilchrist is how much everybody raves about his defense, very rare that a kid with his ability to slash and score takes that end of the court seriously.

It would be fantastic to get this kid. But, with creds like his, won't he just stay for a year and bolt to the NBA? Although that year would certainly be an exciting year. Either way, hell of a job by Beilien getting the kid on campus.

That's whats great about Gilchrist, he doesn't yet have an NBA body.. hes 6'6" only 180. Plus he needs to develop his outside shot. He sees how well Coach B develops guys (Gilchrist is friends with Simms)and what better coach to help him develop those skills than Coach B. So even as the #1 recruit I don't think he will be a 1 and done.

Well, when you put it that way my comment looks ridiculous. I was more going for the long term he might not do much good for the program. Such as Greg Oden helped the buckeyes to one good season and now they are starting to fall back into obscurity. However, your point is well taken.

This was a well-titled post. All the relevant information was right up front. I knew what I was going to read before I read it, which lets me continue to live in my happy bubble devoid of surprises.

is a rumor but it has yet to be confirmed. Getting Gilchrist and Dawson on campus is huge for Michigan even if they don't get them. It gives the other programs a big notice that they are a big player and they should be scared of Michigan with their unique offensive system.
