I have football on my mind a lot, and I don't even understand the game. I can't imagine running through scenarios and players and schemes 100% of time time, especially when all anyone cares about is the three or so hours on Saturdays. It's gotta be brutal to put that much time into something and then when it's not executed how you imagined getting a shit storm of criticism from the fans/media.
To Wolverines coach Rich Rodriguez, long hours are part of 'lifestyle you choose'
The thing I can't believe is that they somehow find time to recruit during the season.
Did anyone else notice that Coach Rod accidentally channelled "A Better Son/Daughter"?
Coach Rod: "The highs are really high, and the lows are really low. And in our profession, the highs and the lows are public."
Jenny Lewis: "And sometimes when you're on, You're really f*cking on, and your friends they sing along, and they love you. But the lows are so extreme, that the good seems f*cking cheap, and it teases you for weeks in its absence."
Just saying, maybe Coach Rod has a hype video in his favorites.
