Because with the state of UConn's defense currently, there was ANY chance at all that an 11 game starter who was available wasn't going to play this season. Dude could've robbed a teammate at gunpoint and probably still been starter.

You're right. This is what's wrong with a lot of programs around the country. If you're an important part of the team and you do something you're generally fine. If you're just some random kid that doesn't play he's kicked off the team and made out to be a monster.
