Why would he put Greg Oden on his cake?
NFL Baller BRAYLON EDWARDS Celebrated is BIRTHDAY . . . The Party Was COOL . .. Until A Bit Of RATCHETNESS APPEARED!!! - MediaTakeOut.com™ 2011
is so full of epic win, its bi-winning
The term 'ratchet' has no less than two distinct meanings. As an adjective, it describes a person or activity that is out of hand, out of control, or generally whack in some way. As a verb, or a direct object ("do tha ratchet, yeah, do tha ratchet..."), the term serves to identify or describe the dance craze--and the movements associated herewith-- of the Ratchet.
I'm such a nerd I saw another thing that are "RATCHET" about that cake.
His cake is covered with Transformers. There is a Transformer called Sideways that is an Audi R8. Braylon was given an Audi R8 for his birthday, but no Transformer to complement it...RATCHET!!!
Also would have been perfect if there was an Autobot ambulance (i.e., Ratchet) on the cake to go along with MediaTakeOut's description.
After spending a few minutes trying to decipher that link I feel like I now know what it feels like when aliens land on another planet and they don't understand anything about the local customs but they inhabit the skin of one of the planet's inhabitants and then travel around trying to understand the ways of the local people but they never quite get it so they get back in their spaceship and return to their home planet, the moral of the story being that sometimes the familiarity of home, while at times stultifying, can be superior to the existential disequilibrium caused by traveling to a distant and exotic land.
So I guess I'm saying that Braylon is, like, a parable.
