NCAA makes player, girlfriend sign affidavits about legitimacy of relationship
I thought this was some kind of parody at first....
"Now Mr. Ikard, we're going to need to watch you and this young lady fornicate so we can REALLY know that you're dating. Please proceed."
How much were the investigators paid to draft this affidavit? Is dating a member of the populace now an impermissible benefit? The question wasn't whether he got access to the tickets because of being a football player, but that they were dating becuase of it? What the hell?
They can't seriously go around demanding signed papers for every little think an athlete does can they? What if he refused to sign that garbage?
I love to see people get worked up over a vague statement by a non-expert. This story tells me nothing about what was actually signed, for whom, or why. Who is "NCAA" in this story?
