Jalen has that IDGAF (i don't give a) attitude, and it's refreshing on TV. That said, I don't think he, Wilbon, and Simmons are so great (yet). I do enjoy Simmons' writing, especially on the NBA, but he hasn't found his groove on TV yet. Also, Wilbon seems to want to let Jalen drive the show, and I don't know that Jalen is a good host (yet). It'll be interesting to see how they work together throughout the year.
But man, if Michigan guys aren't dominating the airwaves. Jalen, CWebb, Eisen, Griese, Dierdorf, Desmond... we've got quite the media presence.
