How Marty Turco changed the game for goaltenders

I didn't really pay much attention to Turco until he cameo'd with the Blackhawks a few years ago, but it was insane how good he was with the puck. He was playing some crazy-new-hard version of chess while everyone else was still figuring out what checkers were.

Remember that time in college when he flipped the puck on his blade and then snuck up behind the other goal tender to stuff it in the net, like slam dunk style.  Man that was so awesome!  I remember it like it was yesterday.  And it was in the Final 4 too!!

The Turco grip took my puck handling from a liability to a strength almost immediately. It's just absurd how much easier it is to use. Fully expect it to be nearly universal within a generation of NHL goalies.
