No shame in being drafted with the seventh overall pick. Sacramento may actually be a decent spot for him compared to other options in the Top 10 if he drops past Orlando. Especially if he builds a good relationship with Cousins.

Sacramento is the worst place for Trey to get drafted. Yes, Maloof Brothers sold the franchise, but it's a huge mess with ton of misfits and malcontents.
Almost every other team between 3-10 has an established or highly drafted point guard. Trey's path to starting and establishing the Kings as his team is clearest. Also new owners can really turn a franchise around quickly, as we've seen in Golden State. Not ideal, but most teams in the top 10 are there for a reason.
