With ND's schedule, they'll need to go undefeated to go to the MNC, and that might not even do it. Their toughest games are Stanford, USC, Michigan and MSU. Beating 3 of those 4 will not be enough for top-2, and beating all 4 of them still might not.
Now that I think about it, undeafeated ND would go just because they're ND, but one loss ND will likely have a lot of teams to beat out, and that schedule won't permit it.

Oklahoma lost their leading tackler and defensive leader for the better part of the season [if not all of it] so it makes sense they'd get knocked back

No offense Brian, but no duh on you being the only Stanford believer. They lost their HC, Owen Marecic and other major contributors. Andrew Luck alone does not a #1 team make.

New guy screwed up the Wack Ballot Watchdog part, inserting the teams with greatest standard deviation into the slot where weird ballots got called out.
