Wallpaper Season - HARBAUGH MANIA!!!

Submitted by jonvalk on

Ok, so I've done a couple Harbaugh-themed works in the past day and saw at least one request for them to be posted.  I will be working on a Beilein painting to pair with the Harbaugh one,  In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these.  I suppose the Harbaugh painting could be used as a mobile wallpaper, however, it was purely for fun at this point, so it's not sized appropriately to be perfect.  As always, constructive criticism and/or suggestions are always welcome.  The inspiration for the painting came from learning how to do some painting-effects in Photoshop and blending with old paintings to make them look plausible.  I think, for a first attempt, it turned out pretty well.  I'm sure I'll get better with practice and this is, after all, not my day job.  I have four more days of freedom until I'm bound by work duties again, so I'll try to bang out some more work for ya'll in that time frame.  God Bless and Go Blue!  HAPPY NEW YEAR!  HARBAUGH!

I couldn't post a Harbaugh-jackhammer jpeg for the life of me so i made it my avatar instead.

Why is it sometimes I can select - copy/paste a jpeg and sometimes not???

Well, I am a long time bathroom blog reader, but recently I become active. Since I have a new account, I can't post threads. But I found actually Good Article on Behind Scenes Actions with 49ers Managment by Tim KAWAKAMI! Which is pretty amazing because this guy was sort of one of the TOOLS that said Harbaugh was going to the RAIDERS for sure. According to Kawakami, Mark Davis said Harbaugh's heart was at Michigan and that Harbaugh wasn't going to change his mind, even though he was offered more money by Davis!

His responses on twitter to many rationale, logical questions from the M fan base were met with immature and/or internet tough guy responses.  You'd be embarrassed if your friend the second-year packaging engineer answered in such a way, let alone a journalist.

Why would he know anything about Michigan? He certainly doesn't have the access Angelique does for example. He's a writer in SJ! He has had some national work. Real national work -- not Mitch Albom-like work. Listen, I have no dog in this hunt other than the fanbase looks like complete idiots for the way they behaved during the coaching search. It boils down to a bunch of emotional, butt hurt, people who reacted to something he said -- which TK CLEARLY explained he was forming his opinions (not fact) based upon the information on hand at the time. What is arrogant about that? What is douchey or dolty about that? Do you think Drew Sharp would approach reporting as reasonably? This whole backlash at TK, and other reasonable people in the press, makes Michigan fans look like a bunch of fucking crybabies.

Huh? Packaging engineer? Anyway, I saw a tweet from him that said he was relaying the status as he knew it at the time and asking Michigan fans to quit with the attacks because/get information elsewhere. That is hardly immature or being a tough guy. Judging by all the 100-pointers on here creating bullshit threads during the coaching search, I can only imagine the crap that spilled off of this site and into the interwebs elsewhere.
