Video Of All Varieties: That Happened

Submitted by Thorin on

[Ed: You know, I was going through my VOAV stuff today and ran across this from Boyz in the Pahokee, which is everything I was going to post, so here's the bump. Still looking for Denard's post-game Sportscenter interview.]

Al Lesar's lede from his column in this morning's South Bend Tribune:

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Retro jerseys obviously didn’t fit well. Collars were too tight.

ESPN really dropped the ball with that. Their big primetime game was starting and they didn't bother to bump the silly SEC matchup over to another channel? The alumni bar I was at in DC had to resort to putting the ESPN3 stream on, with no sound for a bit, until that damn game ended. I hate the SEC!!!

I like the idea of the honoring the legends with patches on the jerseys, however I think the execution of the patch itself leaves more to be desired. It just looks like a guady iron on thing.

I would have liked to see something a little smaller and maybe Desmond's signature embroidered on it instead of the printed lettering.

Want to know one of my favorite parts of the game?

SEEING LLOYD BRADY ON THE BIGSCREEN! I laughed my ass off and scream "Lloyd Brady!" with my friend, and everyone looked at us like we were crazy.

Im sure the recruits were jumping around excited as all can be.... Does anyone have pictures of them getting into the game like the guy from last week ( his name slips my mind ) but im sure this game was a great in recruiting ...

Also does  anyone have video of the celebration after the game with the crowd, the band playing and players jumping into the stands ?

Im proud of our DEFENSE we gave up a ton of yards but we forced TO's and came up HUGE when we needed it... We would have definitely lost this game if the D didnt come up big

Thanks for posting this Boyz n da Pahokee, i went to mgovideo first and watched them all!  Great stuff as per usual.  Great performance by the team! Even if they didn't come back with the final 30 seconds, they fought so hard.  Being able to score four fourth quarter td's was special.  So happy for Vince Smith breaking those tackles!  My buddy broke my ceiling fan as we were jumping and screaming for him to score.

Anyone know what was going on with Hoke and Devin Gardner after one of the TD's (I think it was the Gallon TD)? It looked like Hoke was chewing Gardner out for some reason. Odd.

Has anyone seen the 101st Parachute Demo Team's video online?    It looked really cool when they showed it on the scoreboards, would like to see it again.

Thanks.

I really feel that this defense is going to really come along as the season progresses.  We are starting to see some flashes from young guys such as BWC and Hawthorne.  Kovacs is playing out of this world and JT Floyd looks improved from last year even if Floyd did own him.  The defense still needs to gel and fully understand Mattison's playbook.

A question for those in attendance last night. Was the the most alive you've ever seen the Big House?

This is my 17th season as a season ticket holder, and with the possible exception of the '97 victory over Ohio State I have never seen the crowd into a game as last night.

What an event, it lived up to every bit of the hype!

GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
