Thoughts-

  • Some, uh, massive busts but some pretty great players.
  • Prescott Burgess was a beast.
  • Kind of hard to believe D.Green wasn't #1 in Virginia in 2013.
  • Pierre Rembert was #2 in Wisconsin in 2002. If things hold up and Bredeson follows through with his commitment and signs with Michigan in February, Michigan will grab WI's top ranked player for the first time.

He was originally a wideout that played the Carl Tabb role on coming on the field for token run plays and returned a couple punts, I bet he was always a gunner or something. Then he was switched to corner his senior year and still didn't see the field much if ever. Didn't get drafted but was picked up by his hometown Redskins and was off and on with them for a bit.

The neat thing was that he was traded straight up to the Ravens for former 2nd round pick Jon Beck. NFL?!

Nice guy. Doug Dutch with Max Pollock(pick sixed Lefevour, only play he ever made because he was too busy stealing my food) used to watch Entourage in our fraternity house on Sundays because we had HBO. Cool story bro.

I wonder why he couldn't break though, maybe hands idk. In his early years I mean Breaston, Manningham, Arrington & Mathews were all good so... And you know Lloyd really spread it out.

I wonder if Toney Clemons(shout out David Cone rap skillz), Stonum, Hemingway & Odoms and Mathews were that much better so he switched positions senior year.

Rivals had Derrick Green as the top guy in the state FWIW. There was another 5 star RB that commited to UVA in the state as well.

Jonathan Allen was an Alabama commit and has probably been the most impressive of the group, he was first team All-SEC last year.

There was also Hackenberg who we all know was a super recruit in his own right and seems to be on his way to be a 1st round draft pick. He could of been a top guy on some other site.

Well...Well...Well

When I first read the title, I was expecting the highest ranked commit from each state...think that's something you could pull together WD? I expect that modern era rankings wouldn't cover each state for Michigan, but curious which states have never been represented.
