Shirts NOT by the awesome Six Zero
Alright, it occurred to me maybe we shouldn't hijack Six Zero's thread for our own purposes. His are the designs to vote on, he's a professional, and so on. That said, it has been pointed out that if we would like a shirt, we can go to any online printer and order them as little as one at a time. I thought we should have a thread to share some of the designs we work up. Subsequently, if somebody likes one of them, they can request the SVG of the graphic to have it printed for themselves, or several people at a time. As such, please post any shirt designs you have HERE, and continue to vote on Six Zero's awesomeness there.
Hawking wares in some other guy's stall is just kind of rude, and it detracts from what he's doing, which it shouldn't. After all, I'm no graphic artist, and I'll bet most of you aren't, either.
My designs so far are below. The first one is new, and I think my favorite of the three. It's slightly less Michigan branded (but only slightly) and identifies much more strongly with the blog. The other two are more heavily Michigan branded, but little to no blog connection (easily modified to include it). What say you?

I know Blazefire created this thread to keep ideas off of the MGoShirt Alert pages, and if showing up on here is offensive to some of you, i apologize. But I'm certainly willing to recognize the efforts of others, and even willing to work with the collective voice of MGoBlog about what you want.
With that being said, if you guys come up with some consensus ideas of what you want in an MGoBlog shirt, say 2 or 3 ideas you can all agree on, I'll work 'em up and put them into the last week of my project. It's not about stealing thunder-- I'll absolutely be sure to credit whoever came up with them-- but I'm thinking then it might get into the MGoBlogStore, which in theory should make all of you happy. I have just about all of my designs finished, but I'm willing to sacrifice a few in the name of democracy.
Or you can be like Elno and tell me to go to hell. Either way it's all good.

It's not intruding to come to this thread. I would say these people are trying to do the same by opening a separate thread for their own thoughts, so they're not confused with yours or otherwise.

Oh HECK no! You are a gifted, gifted man, and we want you here! Oh yes we do. I feel like if one of us came up with a great design we really like, the best option would be to hand it off to you for improvement! You can certainly make the cleanest image!
I only put this here, because I felt like you were taking a LOT of time to start the whole thing, and make beautiful, beautiful shirts, set up great voting formats and the like, and I didn't want any of us to detract from that.
Screw Elno. Put whatever you want here. Be involved. Please.

I have zero graphic design ability. What about something that plays on Dantonio's douchiness, as well as the "douchey MGoBlog user". Maybe "EL coaches Just douche it." with an altered Nike swoosh below? IDK, just an idea.

Question: anyone know the legalities involved in making these tees? I've only ever made t-shirts for myself to wear (order off the site you see on the images), but selling them is a whole different matter, I would think.
I bet you can't sell a likeness of Ufer, or the Space Emperor (of Space) without giving out royalties to someone.
Which severely constrains the possibilities on here.
The Wolverine, though, I bet we could make up. As for the others, before we get carried away, let's find out if it's even possible. If there are rules about selling them, maybe we could pick one to make for no profit -- like print 20 of them and everyone just shares the cost.

And, in fact, cannot profit from his likeness without inviting the wrath of the NCAA. The photos you are using are so generic as to not incur any copyright claims, im(NOT A LAWYER)e.
Ufer may be an issue. Dunno how litigation-happy his estate is.

You can't do a player, helmet, or block M. I'm not sure about Ufer.
Edit: Note that in my design that says M Go Blog, that's not a block M. It's Team MT Bold font. Difference to the average fan? Nope. Difference to a legal team? Yeap.

Seriously, it takes like 5 mins in GiMP to make a concept. To make a t-shirt takes a bit longer, and requires redrawing it almost entirely. It's not even tracing, except I use the original to make paths. I wonder if that legalizes it?

I've noticed a few comments in several of these threads about wanting a simple shirt for mgoblog and then a few others that want to do a bunch of inside jokes. I'm a pretty big fan of Tacopants - think the whole concept is hilarious, but if we wanted something simpler, we could do something like:
"MGoBlog: Those who read will be well informed"
Kind of riffing off "those who stay will be champions". Or if the WLA wanted a shirt, they could use the idea and have it be:
"WLA: Those who stay will be communists"

I've mentioned this a few times, but I'd love a shirt that says:
"Eeeeeee... I'm a little girl for Mike Barwis." or simply "I'm a little girl for Mike Barwis"
that's got some good MGoBlog flavor, and it's pretty accessible. I'm not so great with graphic design, so if somebody could mock one up that'd be awesome.
I also love the one of Zoltan kicking Saturn. I will buy 2 of those if that one makes it. No vote button, though.

The pad level meme is generally that you need to be lower, so I think you should change it up a bit. Perhaps "You need to work on your pad level"
