...sports a ton, especially as they give me the best chance to see Michigan play in person without a long haul trip.

Unfortunately I missed my chance to attend some doable events this year because of various family/work responsibilities (baseball tourneys in NC, T&F relay at Duke, rowing matches at UVA, water polo eastern championships at College Park).

I'll try to do better next year.

But I'm better for color commentary.  So much of my attention is distracted by the burning question of "I see Evan and Zach -- can I go sit with them?"  "Can I have some money to buy Sour Patch? I promise to share with Evan and Zach!" etc.  Or being asked to look up stuff on my iPhone to win the trivia contest.

So, larger questions -- how's attendance, how's the strike zone -- I'm good.  Any individual play is 50/50 whether I saw it.

...Jeff.  I assume you thought about doing it because you do have some extra insights that could be shared here.

Diaries are great places to put out information on things other than football, MBB and ice hockey and if you know Women's Tennis, you have the opportunity to get people interested and engaged.

Look back at the threads surrounding the Men's Gymnastics NCAA Championship run.  People love to get behind a winner and since the Women's Tennis team has the chance to make a deep run in their tournament, the chance that people will get engaged exists.

Someone chronicling that run provides us with additional information beyond that available at MGoBlue.com and BTN.com and may have the added benefit of letting the team know that the fanbase supports them and appreciates them.

So, get to it!
