We are continuing with Part 2 of the Q & A session with THE KNOWLEDGE; aka the PROFILE OF THE KNOWLEDGE. This is the conclusion of the two-part interview. Part 1 will be published later (in a week or two).
-------------------------
Question #5: That was a great response! Now, what the last time you soared and basked in glory?
Reply of THE KNOWLEDGE:
.
THE KNOWLEDGE soars more often than he cares to remember. The latest episode came just this Monday
.
THE KNOWLEDGE had said on these very pages that the BS Broncos will reach the National Championship, where they will lose to the Michigan Wolverines. THE KNOWLEDGE had also mentioned this eventuality to other groups
.
yes
.
When it appeared that VT may come from behind and win the game, THE KNOWLEDGE started getting several messages from those that still doubt THE KNOWLEDGE, proclaiming the failure of THE KNOWLEDGE’s predictions
.
THE KNOWLEDGE replied to all of them with one word: “Ha!”
.
yes
.
Of course, when BS won the game proving the accuracy of THE KNOWLEDGE yet again
.
THE KNOWLEDGE soared, leaving every doubter in a trail of dust
.
yes
.
Question #6: You have recently announced THE KNOWLEDGE CHALLENGE. Please provide more details about this great contest. Also enlighten us as to the rules and perks of the contest.
Reply of THE KNOWLEDGE:
The KNOWLEDGE CHALLENGE is the most exciting contest anyone can hope to compete in. This is an opportunity for THE KNOWLEDGE’s fans to think like THE KNOWLEDGE and predict the score of the upcoming Michigan game. THE KNOWLEDGE has announced this challenge to exponentially increase the excitement on these very pages
.
And most importantly, the winner gets to be THE KNOWLEDGE’S PROTÉGÉ OF THE WEEK. This is an extraordinary honor and the next-to-greatest achievement anyone can attain on this blog. The greatest honor, of course, will be the title THE KNOWLEDGE’S FRIEND that will be bestowed upon the most consistent performer at the end of the season
.
yes
.
The reward for being chosen as THE KNOWLEDGE’S FRIEND will be announced later
.
yes
.
Rules:
- THE KNOWLEDGE will post a thread each week a day or two before the game, giving pointers to the game. THE KNOWLEDGE will, obviously, not reveal the score the game beforehand.
- Since may people post many useless threads, THE KNOWLEDGE’s thread maybe pushed from the front page. Hence, people are encouraged to look for older threads, and locate THE KNOWLEDGE’s thread to post their predictions
- In the event of a tie, there will be a short essay competition to determine THE KNOWLEDGE’S PROTÉGÉ OF THE WEEK
.
yes
.
Question #7: What do you like about MGoBlog, and why do you post here?
Reply of THE KNOWLEDGE:

I hate to be a nag, but I'm going to keep asking.
September 9th, 2010 at 3:38 PM ^
When will the "review" of the ND game be available to us ignorant readers?
September 9th, 2010 at 3:40 PM ^
If THE_KNOWLEDGE considers his power to be a gift or a curse. Also: Honey....mmmmmmmm!
September 9th, 2010 at 4:08 PM ^
There will be no money but the Knowledge gives a glimpse of the future...so I got that going for me.

Only THE KNOWLEDGE could interview THE KNOWLEDGE.
September 9th, 2010 at 5:07 PM ^
talk about himself in third person much like the situation.
September 10th, 2010 at 12:31 PM ^
The Situation refers to himself in the 3rd person like THE_KNOWLDGE does.
September 9th, 2010 at 5:17 PM ^
This is the conclusion of the two-part interview. Part 1 will be published later (in a week or two).
Leave it to THE KNOWLEDGE to reveal Part 2 first.
September 9th, 2010 at 6:13 PM ^
I thought that part was brilliant.
September 9th, 2010 at 5:56 PM ^

September 9th, 2010 at 6:07 PM ^
Did THE_KNOWLEDGE really call them "Notre Lame"?
September 9th, 2010 at 7:06 PM ^
You've got to cut the poor guy some slack sometimes. Clearly Notre Dame will be changing their name in the intermediate future, and THE_KNOWLEDGE forgot to revert the name for our strange and backward in-the-past usage. It may seem strange from our vantage point, but so sometimes do his other historical observations of future Michigan victories.

Entertaining diary, btw.
September 10th, 2010 at 1:49 AM ^
the award of THE KNOWLEDGE'S FRIEND will have no other prize except that it in itself is a prize. Or THE KNOWLEDGE will divine the winner's life story before it happens.
I am a true believer and hope I can at least be a THE KNOWLEDGE'S ACQUAINTANCE

KNOWLEDGE, I KNOW you must have soared over damefan1, can you tell the story?
UM 35 ND 24
September 9th, 2010 at 11:04 PM ^
NL(ND) will struggle with the vertical passing game and I predict will fumble three times. DR will be even tougher to catch as he is so fast water cannot even catch him falling from the sky.
UM 34
ND 13
September 9th, 2010 at 11:20 PM ^
I'll mix this one up. Let's go for a 17-10 M victory. 60% chance of T-storms, folks!
September 9th, 2010 at 11:48 PM ^
I love THE_KNOWLEDGE because it is the only entity as knowledgeable about Michigan football as Linda (in Grand Blanc). It only makes sense that I become its protege (and eventually, its friend).

45-17 Michigan. Denard and Tate both shine in this one. Like last week, the defense will force a couple of early three and outs which the offense takes advantage of. Too much speed and athleticism for ND to deal with at this time.
September 10th, 2010 at 1:52 AM ^
THE KNOWLEDGE'S FRIEND has the review of the ND game here, so look in wonderment. That's right, I have divined that I am the future THE KNOWLEDGE'S FRIEND, and I have already uncovered the season in total.
Because I will be asked to prove it, I shall now review the score, though you may later find this to be a red herring. THE KNOWLEDGE'S FRIEND review of the game:
Michigan: 31 ND: 24

17-0 record when THE KNOWLEDGE is in attendance? How about some Beveled Guilt to get this guy season tickets and make sure he attends all games?
September 10th, 2010 at 8:01 AM ^
UM-42
ND-17
September 10th, 2010 at 8:29 AM ^
20-17. A rain soaked mud-o-thon. Both teams fear the other teams offense and their own defense, leading to conservative play, combining with the rain, to make for a very uuugggly game. B. Kelly's switcharoo at placekicker bites him in the ass. Missed fieldgoal with seconds remaining - take knee Denard.
Take the "under."
September 10th, 2010 at 9:00 AM ^
"Friend" and Protege?" What a load of crap. Anybody can have those kinds of relationships. I won't make predictions until the positions we're aiming for are "Toady" and "Sycophant."
I'm saving "slavish devotee" for my relationship with Brian, of course.

45-24 Michigan
September 10th, 2010 at 5:46 PM ^
was totally awesome.
September 10th, 2010 at 7:49 PM ^
Dude- you totally missed a chance to say that you only go to games that we win because you know the outcomes ahead of time, and therefore don't bother making the trip and paying to see a game they will lose....
September 11th, 2010 at 10:48 AM ^
How about
UM - 31, ND - 7 ???
Denard rushes for 150, throws for 250 & Vince Smith has over 100 yards and 2 TD's.
Crist will be smashed into a small ball repeatedly by Death Row.
Michael Floyd will fumble again on a big play.
Michigan fans rejoice
