Northwestern Wallpaper

So here we are... 5-0 and heading on the road against a scrappy Northwestern team possibly led by a former heisman hopeful heisman hopeful quarterback, Dan Persa. After everyone's comments from last week on the Eastern Michigan wallpaper, I wanted to do another animal parody for the Northwestern wallpaper. My original thought was to make use of these in some way:

 

but I realized that Northwestern shouldn't be mocked like Eastern Michigan (who's more like an infant step-cousin than a "little brother"), lest the football gods smite us for our hubris. Instead, I let myself be influenced by my feminine side and took my inspiration from the musical Cats. Instead of dancers for pupils, though, I went for... DENARD!!!

I figured, unlike the Eastern Michigan wallpaper, this wallpaper makes Northwestern look cool, which will make me feel more satisfied when we beat them!

EDIT: I fixed the widescreen link and changed the game info to "Game 6" instead of "Game 5"... I think I was just psyched about the 5-0 when I made it!

Looks great! The wide screen link goes to just a picture of the adorable kittens (are they called kittens?) though.

The wallpaper looks great.  Also, I applaud your logic on maintaining a respectful tone with your depiction of the 'cats.  I mean, we all sports karma exists.  No sense on messing with it.

I noticed the miss-spelled Illinois but it was already brought up and didn't want to draw more attention to it.  I can't spell purple right according to the post above.

Have you ever checked out monuMental's videos of the wallpapers he has created?  Dude is a photoshop freak.  Take a video of my wallpaper process and you'd see just how clueless I am.  It's simply a hobby, way to waste time, and avenue to try and be creative.

I like you work. Good job!

I love having options every week - and even though the original M artist himself will be doing one for sparty, I'm sure he doesn't mind the friendly competition for "Wall Paper of the Week"

I love putting these on my phone during game week. I have no idea how hard these are to resize. If its relatively easy would you consider releasing wallpapers formated for android phones?

These look awesome anyway and I add them to my computer all the time.
