We're all a bit disappointed today, though not as much as this time last year. A few of our fellow Wolverines are more disappointed than us, as they lost their jobs yesterday.

All the players that were drafted made their teams. This is no surprise for Long (1st round), Henne (2nd), Crable (3rd) or Manningham (3rd) as it's rare that first day picks don't make the rosters. Manningham is reported to be struggling with the Giants, though. Hart (6th) and Arrington (7th) were more vulnerable. The Colts released Kenton Keith, which is relevant as he was predicted to be battling Hart for the 3rd RB spot behind Addai and Rhodes. I41 believe Hart will be the primary backup there sooner rather than later, but I'm biased.

Another big cut was Rudi Johnson, which has been publicised quite a lot. Too bad for you if you drafted him for your FFL. Perry will be the starter in Cincy, but will be splitting time with Watson.

UPDATE:

Unfortunately, I was wrong about Arrington. He was placed on injured reserve on Friday. From NFL.com:

Arrington, a receiver from Michigan, had impressed coaches throughout the spring and summer, but severely sprained his toe during New Orleans' opening preseason game at Arizona.

He hadn't played since and coaches were uncertain how long it would take for him to recover enough to compete for playing time on a team already deep in receiving talent. The move means Arrington won't play this season.
