Moving Picture Pages - Short Yardage Slant

Submitted by Chris of Dange… on

I finally got my video editing rig unborked, so now I can get back to making parkinggod highlights and Moving Picture Pages.

(update) My time off has made me sloppy.  Wrong font, weird timings on the captions, forgot the Evil Space Magic trick to embed the video, didn't properly credit Brian (original analysis his, used with permission), didn't link back to the original http://mgoblog.com/content/picture-pages-short-yardage-slant, etc., etc.  You'll have to excuse me for a bit while I go run the stadium steps.

Did anyone see Tom Brady get interviewed on Sportscenter tonight? He had the Lloyd Christmas haircut going in full effect.

Is he trying to be more like Lloyd Brady or what?

you absolutely rock!  i've never actually watched these before but they are great and really informative - pointing out things I fully understand but haven't watched in this detail/speed with simple, quick explainations.

Great stuff, keep them up!

And may I encourage you to continue to post a forum topic when you upload a new video?

One thing I noticed on the second play was that Roh shed his block by the TE very quickly. I'd have to think that this is a direct result of the staff's focus on fundamentals.

I always enjoyed these and I am glad to see that this feature is returning. Thanks for posting it!

Even though this was Illinois and Illinois was getting just about zero push on the line all day, the short yardage defense has been looking better and better throughout the year. The first play in particular I really liked - Donovonn Young hadn't carried the ball for but a few seconds before he had his chance to meet Kenny Demens.
