I thought the same thing when I saw that play for the first time. When I saw it again on the replay the other night, I noticed that the DE did a good job of staying disciplined and not commiting to Denard or Fitz. To me it looked like that could have got blown up in the backfield, but Denard cutting netted minimal yet positive yardage.
"He's a hard worker, and he watched me and Tim (Hardaway Jr.) and Nik (Stauksas) put work in to become (first-round picks), and I'm just happy he's getting better," Burke said. "It's great for the program, too. It shows what type of program the University of Michigan is and the direction it continues to go in."
