I'm not sure how I feel about vendors in the aisles during the game.  I guess we'll all see what it's like on September 4th.  I suppose as long as they don't get in my sightline, I'll be fine.

However, $8 for a cup of hot cocoa...yeesh.

I wonder if some of the many complaints about having to leave your seats to buy bottled water was part of what prompted this new vending policy.  I realize it takes time to get deals like this worked out between the AD and EMS, but it seems like it may have been possible to pull this off in a month's time.

The venders being in my sightline are less of a concern to me than the people in the middle of the rows requiring everyone else to pass their money and food/drinks during play, over and over again. If you're near the aisle, it can suck.

Yuppers! And DB said there will be "high end" vendors and even "healthy" food being sold!

Perhaps they will sell wine & cheese?

(I'm sure it will be available in the premium seating.)

C'mon, you're getting a commemorative mug with David Brandon's face on it. It's a bargain at any price. The real question is how much they'll charge for cocoa refills.

I don't know about the assertion that the aisles are now less crowded, at least wrt the ones with the railings smack down the middle. Those are not going to be easier to navigate, since you now have much less room to pass somebody on the left.

And cotton candy? gah. Might as well have corn dogs with snaggle-toothed carnies hawking 'em.

I can definitely remember people in the stands selling Italian Ice, and it certainly wasn't 20 years ago. Its not really that obtrusive, I don't think it will really make a difference.

This is really good news.  I hate having to get up to wait in a long line to buy a bottle of water. It still stings a little that opened bottles of water were banned, now closed bottles of water are banned...but at least I won't have to get up.

Folks are going to be surprised by how much extra revenue is generated from this.

Hardly  The increase is going to be on the order of 0.5-1 inches.  According to this student seats will be 16" and the the uppermost seats will be slightly less than 18".  That's not an increase of a couple inches, that's a very tiny nearly negligible increase.

I'm not happy to hear this. I remember vendors coming into the stands last year. I believe it was during the Eastern game. It was annoying because I was sitting in an aisle seat. The aisle way kept getting backed up, blocking my view multiple times. Not to mention I don't want to have to pass someone else’s money, food and drinks during the game.
