Michigan - Northwestern Every Snap Videos

Submitted by Thorin on

As you may have heard, the licensing agent of Big Ten video (who deleted mgoblog's YouTube account) is in my base deleting my videoz and sending letters to Michigan Stadium. Someone on our board posted:

Knew this day was coming as soon as I saw this site linked from Mlive. We fly under the radar no more.

For now, I'm hosting every snap directly from mgovideo and still trying to find the sweet spot of video quality/playability. These are 480p:

ThoughtEquity can eat a dick.

It's not the best quality, but I'm thankful that you even posted it in the first place.  For someone like me who doesn't get the BTN your posts are really appreciated.

I, too, do not have access to BTN and greatly appreciate these videos.   Michigan dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball pretty much the whole game, except near the end of the 3rd quarter when we had first and goal and could not punch it in through the middle. M's 2nd half defense had fewer missed tackles and fewer out of position plays.  I did notice, though, how long it took the flag to come out in the two pass interference calls in the 2nd half (I think both were 4th quarter).  The flags came only after whining and pleading by the receiver and I presume crowd booing.  I guess that's part of playig on the road, but there sure seemed to be a lot of indecisive calls in this game.

and V Smith's guns blazin.  Nobody seemed to be able to get that clip yesterday.  That's definitely more than just pointing out the blitzer.  Do you think he's taking Hoke's point up a notch?  I can't wait to see what coach does next.  Thanks for your hard work.

Seemed to do a really good job eating up the running lanes Denard should have had. I just wish we could get the RBs more involved to take some of the pressure off him against these better defenses.

Hemmingway was on that first INT.  Saw a lot of the same throughout the video.

When (if) DRob gets more comfortable in the passing game this O will be completely dominant.

Smith, Gallon, Odoms (remember him blocking early in his career?)...even Denard, he takes hit after hit.

These guys are flat out TOUGH. I hope we don't go away from recruiting that type of player although I think we will. I hope guys like Denard, Gallon and Smith have opened our coaches eyes that everyone doesn't have to be prototypical Michigan 1995 in order to play Big Ten football.

It sucks that they are all up in your grill about YouTube, but I must say that I did lol a bit after seeing "Dear Mr Da Pahokee" on a legal document.

Boyz, do you want one of us to call the lawyer that sent that letter and just ask some questions, see if there is any alternative(s)? I think I can probably do it as a friendly call, tell him that there are a lot of non-BTN viewers that could arguably be induced into buying the service after viewing these videos. Let me know - send Brian an email and he can forward you message to me and I'll get in touch with you. Maybe Brian is interested in me calling too and I could do a two-for-one.
