Michigan on NCAA 09

Do your self a favor,  when you are Michigan,  switch to multiple front defenses...    becasue if you think shafer is just gonna base out fo the 4-3 against spread teams, you are crazy.

Yea, #15 is Threet. He is so underrated, a 77 overall is terrible. Feagin is a 69, EA did some serious hating on Michigan this year. I think both should be rated a little higher, but thats just my opinion.

Last night I beat Notre Dame 17-10 (play now), with a 23-yd TD run by Minor off an HB toss and a 14-yd TD run by Threet in an option play. See? Threet can run. The QB situation is settled.

Someone posted somewhere that you should try Carlos Brown in the QB slot. I've been playin through dynasty mode and he's avgin almost 200 yds rushing a game, he's faster than minor and people focus on him less cause he's a QB, and yes his throwing kind of sucks.. but imo it's worth it..

I agree. Won my first game online against Notre Dame and he ran all over em.

Does anyone know whats up with the EA locker and downloading the rosters. I heard they've caused problems with the dynasty and not all of the rosters are on them. I haven't downloaded the rosters and would like to hear from anybody who knows where to get all the rosters and download them correctly.

There is no roster for PS3 or PS2 yet.  This website seems pretty legit.

I used Antonio Bass as QB in my second dynasty season of NCAA 08 and he ran all over defenses, but he couldn't throw worth shit.  He would have 200+ yds on the ground but be 1-9 in passes.  He was even faster than Kevin Grady, so I rarely had to even pitch the ball to Grady when running the option.  If I did pitch, it was if I couldn't juke or stiffarm past the last defender between me and a TD, and there were a lot of unnecessary pitches. The triple option did a number on defenses.

Thanks for the tip.

I thought I wouldn't be able to call any other play except run left but having 12 or so different sets at shotgun is sweet!! One of my new favorite plays is the WR reverse to Matthews or the opiton were he is in motion and goes to the backfield to get in the play. I love the new offense, as videos games goes that is.

I love running triple option plays, even on 08 with slow Michigan QBs (Mallett was even slower than Henne), and it's just fun to play as Navy.

Playing 09 last night for the first time, I ended up running left on my first play as a tribute to Lloyd.  I also spilled some of my Heineken (for the homies).

I agree, there are so many option sets, even more than for other teams last year.  It's sweet.  The only thing is that they might have gotten rid of one too many ace formations, but I don't know.

About 6 months ago I had sex with a girl who is on the NCAA football design team at EA, and I, admittedly, was kind of a dick about the whole situation. I talked to her friends about it, but she didn't want them thinking she was a slut, blah blah whatever. And since she went to UCLA and we would always have UM-UCLA arguments (and I would always win), that's probably why the Michigan guys are rated so low. I take full blame, sorry guys.
