As stupid as this diary probably is it may be my favorite one in Mgoblog history. I don't know where all to post my feelings seeing how there's literally pages of threads up but 6 hours later here we go: wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! That is all

Most important stat of the game: Michigan won the second quarter 7-3.  At the end of the third I was pretty pissed at you, thinking, "sure they won the second quarter but they're losing all the rest."  Now I recognize the genius!

Ill admit I went to sleep after the 3rd quarter and missed a hell of a game ....Good thing for youtube I got chills watching

did Michigan do anything well tonight?

They were pretty good at not giving up when so many had given up on them. Also, recovering unforced fumbles, throwing and catching jump balls, getting WIDE open on the wheel route when it mattered, kicking PATs (!), not dropping kicks and having more points on the scoreboard at the end of the game than the other team. Also, while Floyd got his yards, they did a good job of not giving up the home run. They defense bent until ND broke.

That was the most unbelievable game in Michigan history!  There...I said it.  Spool up the last two plays for every Michigan highlight reel for years to come.

That game was one for the ages!

Thanks jamie. I had an incredibly long, incredibly inchoherent response in this space which I left there while letting Let the Good Times Roll play out and fortuitiously fell asleep in that time.

Not the biggest fan of Pat Forde, but he's the only one who has brought up this Hoke quote so far: "Even if that play had gone incomplete, Hoke said he might have done the same thing on the final one. 'I may have gone for the touchdown and gone for the win,' he said. 'Why not? I mean, you play to win.'"

Hoke really encapsulates Michigan football. Has the Schembechler legacy coaching ethos along with just enough of that gambler streak that fellow Schembechlarian (coining that as the name for all those who come from the tree of Bo) Les Miles takes too far. Love it.

That Denard Robinson deserves the Heisman? His performance last night, as nearly every victory (and most of the losses) over the past two years shows, was the difference. How can he not be college football's Most Valuable Player?

I think someone swapped out a regular football game for tecmo bowl in the 4th quarter.

Because I woke up this morning wondering if it was all a dream...although I guess my aching legs, bruised arms and lost voice could have been a clue. That was the best birthday in my entire life.

was the loudest, most amazing atmosphere I have ever experienced at a live game in 24 years of attendance. I will never forget how fun and raucus we were, and anyone suggesting the staduim was quiet is mistaken. Maybe TV blocked out some noise with fancy gagetry, but it was insane. GO BLUE!!! I will never forget that, and I am thankful I was alive to witness it.

...also results in a Jamiemac diary of what appears to be a drunken rant of every thought I had post-game, but better. Or, as Fred Jackson would put it: "This diary is like reading an intoxicated Shakespeare, but more elegantly phrased."
