My guess is that he used internet wizardry and went back in time to give every single post a +1.
Oh wait, he did
Congratulations on currently having the post negative points. And you're beating the other guy by almost 50! I guess you were successful in getting the board's "reaction" that you so desired. You win!
Edit: Somehow your points are now going up, I guess you decided to give yourself some points back. My advice: Don't bother, you're going to be banned in the near future anyways.
Bo said terrible things.
EDIT: Actually, I believe one of his rules was that the players could not swear, only Bo and the other coaches could.
Bo once called me a c*nt. I was an infant at the time.
Do you really care if a coach drops the f-bomb?? REALLY?? Boy I hope you never saw Bo coaching. lol
Agreed. Directed at OP, not you.
That's funny. Thank you.
Check out what ROD? Your TINY ROD? Have you ever considered moving to WEST HOLLYWOOD so FAGS can SUCK ON YOUR TINY ROD?
The language RR uses is one thing. Whatever. But I'd like a classy coach who wins. Lots of F-Bombs in an alumni gathering seems . . . odd. So has anyone else on the board witnessed this?
1) Does he drop the F-bomb in public all the time or not?
2) Does he appear classy and well-spoken, or not?
I think everyone realizes that the practice field and weight room are one thing. But in public?
What about other coaches? This is prob. also partially a generational thing, but not completely. I remember reading that Richard M. Nixon was pretty salty, and I'm sure the same was true of LBJ. But they knew the time and the place.
It was among other coaches. The OP kept adding these details as the story went on. And on. And on.
Boy, this dribbling out of relevant details sure sounds very familiar...
Remember how RR shredded all those irreplaceable documents at WVU before he left, and all the hoopla that created? Except it turned out he really didn't do any such thing?
And who can forget all the "family values" hoopla, how all the cursing and swearing drove off Justin Boren? Except it turned out that "family values" was really only about his little brother not getting a scholarship offer?
And now RR is dropping F-bombs in front of alumni and coaches, except for the fact that no alumni were present?
I'm not naive enough to think that RR is some saintly professor carrying his Yeats around in his smoking jacket, but it's amazing how stuff keeps popping up that turns out to be not quite the whole story. People ought to do a little reading about Fielding Yost. From what I've read about him, it would be very easy to conclude he was a complete jackass in a variety of ways. Winning a crapload of games and a bunch of national championships tends to make up for a lot of personal "quirks."
I hope that, no matter who Michigan hires as football coach in my lifetime, he can stand up to the ethical standards of ...
Richard fucking Nixon.
Like holy fucking shit! RR is defective due to a poor vocabulary. Setting means nothing?
The f-bomb is one of the most expressive words in the English language. No other word so eloquently and economically expresses the range of human experience, from anger to joy, sadness to excitement.
From Ulysses by James Joyce, arguably the greatest English-language novel ever written:
"I'll wring the neck of any fucker says a word against my fucking king."
If the f-bomb is okay with James Joyce, it's okay with me, so leave Rich Rod alone.
My bad, I'll never question another decision or action he takes.
D'ya have to use s'many cuss words?
Hey asshole Bluefront95-troll... Why don't you post your alleged brother-in-laws name....
uh huh...well Fuck you then.
The royal "we", you know, the editorial...
And I'll use "we" if I goddamned feel like it. Start your own thread and you can make the grammatical rules.
Fuck you tomhagan. your name shoudl be tomFAGan. fucking fag.
Scooter also has issues with Tom Hagan at other sites. Hmmm...
Than post comments on crazy fan sites. Thanks, btw, for the spirited debate. I've actually read some pretty decent arguments (none from you though).
I went to a Nike Basketball Coaches Clinic in Vegas years ago and one of the best things I came away with was that these coaches - Chef-Chefski, Huggins, et. al. were normal guys - guys with passion for the game who wanted to win, just like me. I'm not a big curser, but I respected that they showed themselves as humans not robots.
Your brother-in-law should wipe the sand out of his vagina
He's about 6'4", 250 bills.
he weighs 25,000 pounds?
was referring to your sister
No matter how big and hefty your brother in law is, he's a pantywaist if he's disturbed by RichRod using curse words at a coaches gathering (on which BTW, I call bullshit). Fortunately, he has you, Mr. Internet Tough Guy, to protect him when things get rough on the internet.
I'm sure he appreciates all you do here on the intertoobz. He's lucky to have you in the family.
Because it's scientifically proven to be healthy.
Let's face it, BlueFront95 doesn't come to Mgoblog with the intellectual and character credentials normally associated with more credible posters.
As for Rich Rod, he has a college degree and his masters degree as well.
Consigliere, you're a magnificent bastard (or at least an orphan, right?). I have nothing to prove to you. I have my Michigan degree, I make an honest living in a sunny locale, and I love the Wolverines. Your questioning my credibility changes none of that.
In many ways, I'm more Michigan than you'll likely ever be: I played pick-up ball on South Quad's basketball court with Jimmy King and Ray Jackson; I lived next door to Ty Wheatley in the same dorm; I beat C-Webb in Madden '92 on Sega; I watched Desmond Howard win a Heisman; I was in the second row at Crisler when the Fab Five took defending champion Duke to double overtime in their national TV debut; I've been to three Rose Bowls; I was at the Colorado hail mary game; my ex girlfriend was roommates with Brian Griese's girlfriend; and I saw Michigan's b-ball team beat Arizona at the Palace. The best moment, as earlier referenced, was running into Woodson at Detroit Metro about a month after he won the Heisman. He signed a compilation program I happened to have at the time.
Think back and you'll realize (depending on how Michigan you really are) that I can't be lying about all of that. Why the hell would I make it up?
.....they lost to Duke in OT, not double OT.
You're more Michigan than the other poster because you watched Desmond win a Heisman?
Well, I bought a bottle of Bo Merlot last year after the Northwestern game. I AM MICHIGAN.
Blue, what do you think the lesson is here? That you aren't who you say you are? Not at all. The lesson is that you chose character assassination, and so you're getting roughed up.
Before you protest, go back and read your post. The best way to go after someone is to be somewhat reasonable, to couch your comments in rational discussion, not to be like that tool GoBlueTooth below. You had an agenda - you don't like RR, that is clearly evident from terms like "hick-ish" and "third choice" and from your various posts pointing out that you suffered through the Toledo game - and you took some hearsay that fit your bias and ran with it.
Let's say your brother-in-law (who dislikes RR like you) had a nice meal with RR and caught a semi-private conversation where RR was BS-ing with another rough-edged old school coach and his language got a little salty. Might have been the EXACT thing the moment called for, but by an annoying chain of bias, it ends up here for me to read.
Your objective was to take RR down a peg and you used either a fictional event, which makes you execrable, or a real event out of context so you could grind an axe, which makes you annoying.
Just pack it in, kill this persona, come up with a new one and start fresh. You actually convinced me you're not a troll, just a dude with bad judgment.
I think you are making up most if not all of your connections to Michigan.
Anyways, it seems odd that you pass on negative info with some false information. In example, that the HS coaching clinic was a 1 day event, when in reality it is a 3 day event. You even admit that you don't know the context of what (if anything) was said. You appear to be a troll.
near explaining how fucking funny this whole thread is. This is one for the record books.
It is epic.
Dude lost more points, and faster than the Barking Sphincter could even imagine.
did this thread get so many comments? This astounds me.
Oh well, since we're on the subject of profanity, I thought it might do the original poster some good to learn something about the words he slanders in this shit-tacular excuse for a diary entry. Enjoy!
I hit a nerve.
After just returning from a weekend long bachelor party, if cursing at a dinner attended by men makes you a bad person, then I'm Josef Fucking Stalin.
But it won't help him win a lot of people over or make his life at a new school/program any easier.
what won't help RR win a lot of people over, or make his life at a new school/program any easier:
having another losing season.
I'm not going to read all of the comments on this, and I know I'm quite late to the party, but if you are telling me that Bo never said "fuck" out loud at practice, or at a team meeting, or on the field, or to his mother (maybe not this last one) then you are an idiot and if I had a hammer I'd use it to ban you.
Bo was a saint, he never swore, and we should hold RR to the same standard. Please comrade, give me some credit.
Do you think Bo, in hindsight, looked back on his life and was proud of all the profanity? The man was a legend and he cussed with the best of them, but he wasn't Ty Cobb.
Holy shit!?!?!? The jury is still out on RR? He swears?
What the fuck!?!?! I thought this cock sucker of a coach was a fucking prince, but hes a fucking asshole of a fucking person. This is fucking bullshit. He should fucking be teaching our team to be polite and not play rough. What a fucking terrible hire by Bill Martin. This is fucking ridiculous. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Oh, and fuck you RR for fucking swearing all the fucking time. This is Michigan, we don't swear, we play nice. Fuck head.
And you're repeating what's already been written about 50 times in this thread. There's a time and a place for profanity.
time and place.
