in town for free camps
Ok, so, just for fun, I'm doing a series of wallpapers based on movie posters. If you recall, last year I turned Jake Ryan into Captain America. This year I'm starting out with a remake of the Skyfall poster and featuring Jake Butt. If for no other reason than it's fun to say "Butt, Jake Butt." Anyway, I like how it turned out, but I'd love some constructive criticism and suggestions for movie posters to recreate with Michigan favorites. Enjoy!
Ok, so this was more an exercise in creating a magazine spread than me designing a wallpaper, but it occurred to me that many of you are just as crazy obsessed with Harbaugh's presence at Michigan and may enjoy it. This was a concept piece I did this week for a fictional magazine article about Jim. I did it because I'm working on building up a portfolio of various graphic design templates in order to possibly land some freelance stuff. I hope you all enjoy it. It has been sized to fit a standard HD 16:9 screen because that's what I run. As always, constructive criticism and suggestions are welcome.
Took some time and did another unhealthy and obsessive Harbaugh wallpaper. This time I noticed that one of his press-conference photos had him giving a relatively Godfather-like stare, so I ran with it. I hope you enjoy another off-season wallpaper effort. As always, constructive criticism and/or suggestions are welcome. Go Blue!
Ok, so since this is Back to the Future year, I figured I'd do a BTTF-themed work. I wanted to have some fun and not put WAAYYY too much time into this, but I did do my homework. Most of the expressions are near-perfect and I put a few Easter Eggs in the layout. I hope you enjoy it. This was mainly for fun, so I'm less worried about constructive criticism for this piece.
Bonus content, t-shirt idea art.
Enjoy! Go Blue!
Ok, so I've done a couple Harbaugh-themed works in the past day and saw at least one request for them to be posted. I will be working on a Beilein painting to pair with the Harbaugh one, In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these. I suppose the Harbaugh painting could be used as a mobile wallpaper, however, it was purely for fun at this point, so it's not sized appropriately to be perfect. As always, constructive criticism and/or suggestions are always welcome. The inspiration for the painting came from learning how to do some painting-effects in Photoshop and blending with old paintings to make them look plausible. I think, for a first attempt, it turned out pretty well. I'm sure I'll get better with practice and this is, after all, not my day job. I have four more days of freedom until I'm bound by work duties again, so I'll try to bang out some more work for ya'll in that time frame. God Bless and Go Blue! HAPPY NEW YEAR! HARBAUGH!
Im going to be gone for the Thanksgiving holiday and won't get more than this done. I like how it turned out, but I always love feedback/suggestions. My heart's just barely in it this season, so I apologize for the drop off in wallpapers (Basketball WILL have a few ready before B1G Season). Even so, I HAD to make one for "The Game." Because OH HOW I HATE OHIO STATE...
GO BLUE. BEAT OHIO STATE.
