Its all about DENARD

How sweet it is...... Remember me ?  I'm the guy who since day one has said Denard Robinson is a total gamer, and the guy you want with the ball in your hands at crunch time, and it is he who should be talked about, even moreso than Forcier. I even went on to say that he'll be our starting qb this season at least 50% of the time, and I got chastised pretty good here, leading to insults.  I was told he cannot throw, he only completes 50% of passes, etc, etc, yet I maintained that in our new offense with young players, it'll be Denard who takes over, not Forcier.  I said to trust your eyes, and watch Denard's films.

My praise of Denard really drew out alot of dickheads on this forum, and you all know who you are. You know, the same ones who will be saying they knew all along how great Denard was gonna be.

I will say it again for those of you with selective memory and those who still have Forcier's shlong in their mouths.. ITS ALL ABOUT DENARD, and remember, it was DICLEMEG who has been telling you so since MARCH.

I do understand Diclemeg's frustration. I have been reading this board for almost a year now and have been posting, very irregularly, for about 6 months. One thing that I have noticed is that in most situations concerning debatable topics there appears to be a majority opinion. And, if someone decides to rule with the minority they are often ridiculed. Sometimes, when I do have an opinion to share there are times that I dare not waste my time due to all the backlash that comes along with it...who would ever think that stating TPs 40-yard dash is probably pretty accurate would cause such a stir. This is not a forum the embraces someone sharing a differeniating opinion, however it does harvest those "d*ckh*ads" that come out of the woodwork when someone doesn't agree with their shallow and/or close-minded thought process. And, No Diclemeg wasn't saying that everyone that posts here is like that...I think he is referencing those individual closet-bashers (the people that hide in their closet waiting for the prime opportunity to become a blog bully!) If you are mad about his diary, then maybe he is talking about you?!?!? For some reason, when I was reading it I was not the slightest bit offended...If the shoe fits, wear it!!! Go Blue!!!

The vitriolic tone of his post I can handle...its when he says that those of us who prefer Forcier as starter have his cock in our mouths...and then he kept at it...answering every post with another angry skree...a simple recipe for getting negged into oblivion. Disagreement is wonderfull, happens here all the time. Just behave and conduct yourself in a civil manner and you will be all right.

That's just it - he DOESN'T have a point. He said "It's all about Denard" (which is vague in itself), but there's no evidence that his implications are true. Denard HASN'T started a game. He HASN'T thrown a pass. He HASN'T run the ball. He HASN'T taken a snap. Neither has Forcier. Nothing has happened yet. Absolutely zilch. He has no point. He's saying "I told you so" about something that hasn't happened yet. Carlos Brown is going to run for 150 yards against Delaware State. I told you so. See what I did there?

hey mangus this website has been slanted to forcier since the start, forcier's name is even in the logo or header above. what was "annoying" is to read the slappies comments over and over about forcier, when i believed denard would be the man. and i said so. and it appears im gonna be right.

Most pundits here have labled Forcier as the next best thing since sliced bread. After the spring, Forcier had been prematurely named the starter by many who post here. I never said anything, b/c I did notice the bashing that DRob and his supporters were taking at the time. Magnus you are correct, we HAVEN'T seen any of them in game situations. With that, for everyone to jump on the Forcier bandwagon in April was a little, excuse me for lack of a better term, appauling. Not only to the wads that like to start internet controversy (Diclemeg. Although, I do often understand your point you tend to go overboard on occassion), but to Denard and any other student-athlete that goes to school with the hopes of a real chance to compete. After the spring, I will approximate that 95% of this board was all over that Forcier bandwagon and swinging between the holidays if his right leg was Thanksgiving and his left Christmas. Now, all of sudden people are starting to hear that Robinson may be the real deal and are backtracking some of those statements. What's even funnier is how many people start new post questionning his throwing ability and relating that to his ability to be the starting QB for M. Denard said himself, "Everyone thinks I can't throw. I can't wait to show them." (For the Blog Police: maybe I shouldn't have used quotations since I don't think that quote was verbatim.) Coaches are extremely excited about this kid, as they should be. Fans and coaches are excited about Tate, as they should be. But, it is extremely obvious that there is a divide here on this board and unjustifiably so. GO BLUE!!! GO DENARD, YAY!!! GO TATE, YIPPY!!! GO NICK, HIP HIP HOORAY!!! This topic is now as soul-burning annoying as yanking everyone's chain to believe that they are really considering playing 3 QBs?!?! (Yea, ok....)

I don't care that he likes Robinson. I won't even care if Robinson wins the job (I am a believer that Forcier is the better QB). I don't care that he says "I told you so." What annoys me is that he said "I told you so" before there's any evidence that Robinson will be the starter. For all we know, Sheridan will take every snap this season and both freshmen will redshirt. You can be contrarian all you want. I don't care. (I'm contrarian frequently, and enough people on here dislike me for it.) But you can't be retarded about it.

Interesting Magnus, how you have 1777 points, and I have negative 683 and counting, all because I do not tow the current mgoblog lines. Obviously me saying "I told you so" were to the punks who ridiculed me rather well for saying back in March to pay attention to Denard and it is just as much he as Forcier, that is gonna be great for us. The diary was not to those who are not lemmings, and perhaps I wasn't clear about it, so my apologies. See, I am not a lemming like those people I was speaking to. To whoever somehow felt that diary applied to them, surely must mean that the shoe really does fit them, to which I am happy. What is fact is that I drew attention to Denard over Forcier when I thought it was justified (and I'm about to be proven right) and I recieved a rather large attack. I also drew attention to the love for Barwis which at the level it is almost seems to diss Gittleson, and I also did so when I thought it was justified. If I wanted to be non-offensive and proper, then maybe I should stick to FORCIER IS MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE or BARWIS WILL BEAT OPPONENTS ON HIS OWN Then, I can accumulate shallow points, but then I guess I would not possess truth, or dignity. Read if you will, that I'm dissing you here (I'm not), but I would bet you think that. I will repeat, since I've been doing so in March, that Denard is gonna be GREAT, and it is quite telling of the immaturity of posters here, that when it truly comes to fruition, that my approval rating will be below yours.

I doubt that many of the negatives for Dicklemeg were because of disagreements -- I would purport that the overwhelming majority were a response to the antagonistic tone. Had he written the same post in favor of T-Force, I think you'd see the same mob response. Still, plus to you, sir, for sticking your neck out there. I made light earlier of how these posts can ignite a storm of negative ions,* which is a bit mob-justicey for my tastes. * my first-ever meteorology joke -- how'd I do?

For anyone that is worried that their personal majority dissenting opinion will cause a negbang of diclemeg or bluefront or buoje proportions I would like to ensure you that your opinion is valued on the board. But don't be a dickhole about your opinion. State your opinion, back it up by penalty of facts (this is key), be prepared for a few people that go overboard, don't reply to people that go overboard, but instead reply to people that act like a fellow human being. Bad idea. I have opinion X and people that don't hold his opinion are full of worms and suck (profanity). Good idea. I have opinion X because of facts A, B and C, and while I understand opinion Y I don't agree with that because of Facts D and E. In short, you aren't going to get negbanged unless you are a dickhole.

When you wrote this diary, what was your expectation? 1. You thought people would say "Yeah, you're right, go Denard!" 2. You thought it might not go well, but figured "What the hell? Why not post this and see how it goes?" 3. You knew an "I told you so post" would not go over well, but didn't care who you pissed off. 3a. You knew it would piss people off, and you were going for the record negbang. Note: I think 3a is most likely since you keep replying and giving people more chances to neg you. If you just didn't respond to anyone, you'd only get negs on the original post, and maybe not even too many of those. But every response, especially when you're being inflammatory, gives another shot at down votes.

I usually don't post. I find it better to just sit back and read the discussions that go on here. I liken it to a wise man often has nothing to say. I'm not saying I'm wise, rather I try to live by this adage. However after reading this post, I felt I had to. It is agreed diclemeg's comments can be (are) offensive in nature. Now that can be for many reasons for which there is not enough time to list and it would be a considerable waste of time and effort to do so. His passion for thinking he might be right on who starts this fall is no different than many others who have stated the same for whomever they feel the starter should be. Just in less obvious and offensive language. I'm a big enough fan of Michigan that it does not matter to me who starts as long as it gives Michigan the best chance at winning. I'm sure many of you would agree.

I agree with you 100%, however I was responding in kind, to the punks who ripped me pretty hard since I've discussed Denard since March. My initial posts predicted the same success that was prematurely given to Forcier (who I also like alot), and yet it was met with disdain and responded to with disrespect and with mudslinging. My message wasn't intended to the well-mannered majority, and am wholeheartedly sorry it came across that way. However to those ill-mannered monkeys I was referring to, well, lets say I have a very low tolerance to hypocritical lemmings who cannot appreciate an insight well before its time. What I saw in Robinson is now just starting to become self-evident. He is, in my opinion, far more important to our near term and future success, than Forcier. I think I also explained it in a post, and also has to do with the rawness of our offense and how it could easily default to the skills that Robinson has. Robinson is an absolute gem, and there was hardly any fanfare of his signing, and soon you will understand, why it was unjustified. To those who were undeservedly offended by my diary this morning, please accept my sincere apology. To those who are deservedly offended, here is to hoping you fall off the vehicle while you are driving the Denard bandwagon, when you have no right to be on it in the first place.
