Evaluating the B1G after week 11
The weekly roundup gets somewhat less enjoyable with each loss, but here's the chart nevertheless. I've incorporated Seth's suggestion of including last week's rankings for comparative purposes. Last week's rankings are indicated with a less opaque icon; if you can't see it at all, it's because the ranking hasn't changed much at all.

So, we seem to have a four-tier B1G:
- Good teams: Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan State
- Above-average teams: Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, Northwestern, Iowa, and Indiana is in this group, too, despite their schizophrenic nature (excellent offense, abysmal defense).
- Below-average teams: Illinois, Penn State
- Horrible teams: Purdue

at their disposal in James White and Melvin Gordon. Melvin Gordon is probably the best RB in the 2014 NFL draft. Normally, I hate Wisconsin RBs because they're usally slow and plodding backs, but Melvin Gordon is not your typical Wisconsin back because of his ability to hit HRs every time he's on the field.
Wisconsin may be the 2nd best team in the conference but won't play in B1G title because they lost to OSU. MSU has a shot at beating OSU because of their defense.

I don't know how much stock you put in these particular advanced statistics (FEI+), but according to them here are the overall ranks of B1G teams, in order (out of 125):
- Ohio State #5
- Wisconsin #8
- Michigan State #15

- Iowa #34
- Michigan #35
- Nebraska #43
- Northwestern #44
- Minnesota #48
- Indiana #49
---
- Penn State #65
- Illinois #67
---
- Purdue #113
