Chicagoland MGoWatchParties

Hey everyone! Two years ago my wife & I opened our doors to any Michigan fans & MGoBloggers in the Chicago area wanting to come over to watch the football games on our projector for the MSU, OSU, & Florida games. We didn't do this last season because we were having a baby mid-season, but we are bringing it back for several games this fall. We are opening our house for the following games:
9/2 vs Florida
10/7 vs MSU
10/21 vs PSU
11/18 vs Wisconsin
11/25 vs OSU
Bowl TBD

If you're interested in coming (or returning for those of you that came 2 years ago) hit me up either on Twitter @MikeCohodes or email me at mikecohodes (at) gmail (dot) com for details. Also, one of you from 2 years ago left your UM cooler at my house, I still have it so you can get it back.

Hope to see you there!

Note to mods- I know this is more of a board topic than diary but I'm trying to maximize the length of time this stays visible on the front page. Please move if you need to.

Suburbs

I live in Gilberts, which is out in the burbs by Elgin. Take 90 west to Randall Road, it's about 2 miles off the highway

Poor planning

Mid-season baby!?! (I kid. That's a great reason to buy football tickets for birthday parties in the future)

not that far lol

Now that they finished the I-90 widening road work, from O'Hare to my house takes about 25 minutes.

We are in Wheaton. My wife is

We are in Wheaton. My wife is an ER doctor at Sherman Hospital & knows the area well. We might take you up on the offer. However, I've learned over the years that I'm not a good social watcher of the games. I usually want to watch in total isolation, and I don't relax until we've got a good 14 point lead on the opponent. Even if I socially watch, I end up DVRing the game so I can watch it more intently later.

Saturdays are and will be BYOB for Wolverine (all games) and other college football. Small restaurant, but 100" projection screen and delicious, fast American food.
