Blue and Joe
We are halfway through #HateWeek, and I think it's time for some wallpaper.
The Michigan State game has always been a special one for me. I've lived in Lansing my entire life, but I've always been a Michigan fan. Many of my friends and family members are Spartans, which makes this game very important to me. I'm ready for things to get back to normal.
My inspiration for this wallpaper is obviousy Jim Harbaugh and his love for whole milk. If winners drink whole milk, then losers drink skim. Michigan State may be a dairy school, but we win this milk battle.
Today marks the official first day of the college football season. I can't remember an offseason more fun than the one we just expirienced, but I think we are all ready for some football games.
The last few seasons have been very depressing. Last year most of us were ready to move on to basketball before the season was halfway over (I even celebrated an open practice with a wallpaper). This year has to be different, right?
Here's a wallpaper to celebrate the return of football, complete with the official shades of Maize and Blue.
Jim Harbaugh is back. Football is back. Go Blue! (click to embiggen)

In a lot of ways I feel like this offseason has been a time machine. Almost all of the things we hated about Michigan football have been fixed, as if someone turned back the clock to the glory days. Of course, one thing is still missing: wins.
This wallpaper is meant to harken back those days. Hopefully the wins come too. Enjoy.

Basketball is back. Thank god.
Tonight there is an open practice at Crisler, and Monday is the first exhibition game. Finally we can focus on what we have become: #basketballschool. To celebrate the much needed return of basketball season I have created a wallpaper. It was tough picking someone to represent this season, but in the end I went with Beilein. It doesn't matter how many players we lost to the NBA, or how skinny the freshman are. I trust that Beilein will put his players in a position to succeed.
BASKETBALL IS BACK. LET'S RAGE.
So, uh...who wants some wallpaper?
I didn't plan on making any wallpaper for the rest of this season for obvious reasons (my previous "Just Win" wallpaper could probably suffice), but then someone on the board said something that caught my eye. The thread has since been deleted, but it was titled "No Maize...Just Blue."
I think that line sums things up pretty well. This season has us all feeling blue, and coincidentally we will be sporting all-blue uniforms this week. If you want your desktop to be as depressing as Michigan football this is the wallpaper for you.
I didn't anticipate doing a wallpaper this week, but after Saturday's abismal outing I was inspired. This wallpaper is a take on The Dark Knight Rises movie poster. Michigan doesn't exactly need to crawl out of a giant hole in the ground, but they definately need to RISE up to be succesful this season. The photo of Devin Funchess is from Bryan Fuller's MGoBlog album on Flickr. Enjoy! Beat Miama (not that Miami)!
P.S. I didn't realize how much this looks like an Adidias ad.
