FOURTH OF JULY

(Click the image to view full size)

I dar e say this one has it all:  Summer fun, meat cooked

with fire (always a good thing), quality time with family, and...

Condiments.

Happy Fourth of July everyone-- have a fun and safe holiday with those you

love the most.  And be thankful for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans,

among them the freedom to follow the finest football program in

the history of the sport.  Go Blue and God Bless America.

On Thursday we'll check in with Desmond and his quest for redheads.

THE BLOCKHAMS™ runs (typically) every Tuesday here at MGoBlog,

and at least every Thursday on its official home page.  Also, don't forget to

check out Friday Roughs, a spontaneous low-end comic based on trending

Michigan events, available on Twitter and Facebook every Friday.

Follow THE BLOCKHAMS™ on Twitter at @theblockhams, and don't forget to

This is what is known in the legal profession as a "red herring" (pardon the pun). You don't put ketchup on hot dogs, so this wasn't even a true choice.

If people "don't put ketchup on hot dogs," why do hot dog vendors have ketchup as one of their two main condiments?

Anyway, this is possibly my favorite of the Blockhams strips so far.  I knew where it was going, but that made it even more enjoyable.

Nice job Six Zero. Mgoblog has a cartoonist better than most syndicated cartoonists. All that's missing now is an advice column and an mgoweatherperson and I'd be all set for my daily info needs.

Definitely a "her" and definitely a fantastic weatherperson.  Her ability to get it right, by the hour, was fantastic.  She was about the only person calling for no significant rain during UTL and by God she was absolutely right.  My wife and I make the drive each week up from Cleveland and we plan our tailgate/game day wardrobe around her predictions!

It's an odd combination to us in the States, but relatively common in Spain. Matters of taste are by definition subjective. So go ahead, put ketchup on your hotdog. Or mustard. Or relish. Or chili.

Just no "catsup". It doesn't make you sound more educated. It just makes you sound like a tool.

There are a few things I won't do when Michigan plays Ohio and MSU...that respective week, I will not wear red/green at all, I won't use anything that is predominately those colors ex: coffee mugs/cups. I'm glad I am not alone with these quirky things!
