Big Ten? What?

Submitted by dex on

I am concerned about the lack of offensive line commitments, also the weather.

In the Big East, Rich Rodriguez did not need offensive lineman. In the Big 10, you do. Unlike the Big East, we require offensive lineman. In the Big East, you get to use three tackling dummies and a machine gun. This is not allowed in traditional Big 10 rules. Therefore, I am concerned that DICKROD hasn't learned what conference he is going to play football in this fall.

Also, I heard that you aren't allowed to run a "spread" offense if the temperature falls below 34 degrees - that is why WVU lost to Pittsburgh last year. Correct?

considering the Big Ten doesnt play games after Thanksgiving, that really isn't even an issue.

In the Big East, no players taller than 5' 8" were allowed on the field (exemption provided for full backs w/ mohawks). Obvs, in the Big Ten, the restriction is altered to no players shorter than 6' 8" allowed. Also, the relation between Jai Alai and the subject matter in question is tenuous at best, but I'll let it slip. This time.

Jai Alai is vitally important to this post. When Feagin gets stapled to the end of the bench in a year and he flunks out of school, what do you think he's gonna do with his life? Wear a funny suit and throw a hard ball into a cement wall for hours while coked out Miami residents bet on him like a horse in between drug deals, Anti-Castro protests, and solving murder mysteries, that's what.

I don't understand. Is this "option" thing legal in the Big 10? Is it like the Single Wing that team from Menominee runs? If it is, I'm really skeptical about this hire.
