Big Ten Recruiting Class Rankings 3-7
There have been a lot of requests for this to become a recurring feature (as it was on Varsity Blue), so I'll post the rankings weekly in the diaries, and frontpage it occasionally. The team rankings are very rough estimates until the services have released more full individual grades.
Action since last rankings:
3-5-10 Illinois gains commitment from Hunter Wells. Michigan State gains commitment from Lawrence Thomas.

I'll only make charts for the teams that currently have commits. Rivals 250 means that a given prospect is on the Rivals 250 to Watch, and ESPN 150 means that a prospect is on the Watch List for the ESPNU 150. Scout ratings are on the 5-star scale.

Northwestern holds steady with one prospect.
Oops. That's what I get for copy/pasting from last week. Fixed.
I don't think that Minnesota is going to stay up there for long. And i think Delonte Howell should be rated a Four start too. Does anyone have any highlight videos of these guys?
"Big Bad Bo Could Beat those Buckeye Bitches, The Big house wants his Brutal Body Back.
As of right now I think Delonte would be a four star. Brown and Conway would probably be three stars.
This is a stupid discussion. This early in the year only the top handful of players get star rankings, so until later on all this one star vs. five star stuff is irrelevant. The rankings will change soooooo much by next fall, and a 250 watch list player could end up being a 5-star or a 2-star. Plus, there aren't really all that many commits to compare and contrast. It's ok to talk about this I guess, but please don't put any weight into this list because its way too early to be ranking classes.
A side note though, I think Conway has a shot to be higher than a 3 star if he goes to camps and combines (which is what makes up about 90% of star rankings anyway. online recruiting rankings are very much a political process)

Shawn Conway is still listed as a cornerback on this chart.
