Nice to Phil Brabbs on the roster considering everything he's going through right now with his Multiple Myeloma battle.
Also: Mercury Hayes is one of those names where I wonder "whatever happened to him??" Good to see him coming back. Also happy to see Biakabutuka returning as well.

my favorite Michigan player ever!
#2 - Walter Smith
if anyone has some time, i wonder if comparing this and last year's rosters will reveal any players who have come back to the MANball family...

will always be my favorite non-famous Michigan player, mostly because he ended up in my lap when the players rushed the stands to celebrate after the 2005 Penn State game. I probably left body paint all over his jersey. I hope he never washed it again. Still might be the greatest moment of my life to date.
Also, how much do you love seeing lines like this:
#83 Bill Laskey (1962-1964), End
Not tight end, or split end, or any other kind of end. Just, End. Love seeing the old-school (pre-Bo!) guys still coming around. If only they could have also gotten a "Wolfman" on the roster.
When I first saw the list I thought there was a typo because there was a Opong-Owusu on both lists. I excited for Ohene mainly because he provides sick beats for Jack Kennedy.
what caught my eye was
#16 Tom Brigstock (1962-65), Halfback
Wow. Remember halfbacks?
Thanks to the tireless efforts of WolverineHistorian I actually know about a third of the players on those rosters. Biakabutuka and Mercury Hayes FTW.
My first game ever at the big house was the 2002 game against Washington. Thank you Mr. Brabbs!!
...started by Coach Rodriguez.
credit where credit is due
I'm totally amped about Biakabutuka being back for this game.
... to get BJ Dickey into the Name of the Year brackets????
Wow, those are some impressive rosters for the alumni game. Biakabutuka, Hayes, Ray.
And Buckeye killer Billy Taylor? How sweet is that? Rick Leach played in the alumni game 2 years ago, threw a couple passes (one of them got picked off) and then he was done. Jim Brandstatter then got on the mic and said, "I think we need to see some more passes by Michigan's All-American QB, Rich Leach. Where is he?" Then Leach responded, "Back off, man! I'm 52 years old!" Taylor is a few years older than Leach so we'll see if he lasts longer.
And Jerry Leith, a halfback on the 59 squad? Wow.
My first ever favorite Wolverine. OK, I'm super-old, but that guy made my childhood.
wish this game was televised
Hopefully someone will get some footage of it. I just hope it is not the guys from Rivals with their terrible camera.
Loved that guy's name.
for his whole NFL career. Glad he's back in playing form!
I loved his play on the field! He was a great tight end. I don't ever remember him dropping a pass.
Biakabutuka is going to rush for 313 yards like he did against osu
