Given that we've almost wrapped up the 2013 class - I'll start maintaining the 2014 offer board
This has been derived from the 2013 offer board, so credit to wlubd for creating the template.
Definitely a little odd. Makes me wish we'd go after Dorsey again. That JC looks familiar I think thats where Cam Newton went between stints at Florida and Auburn.
Denard is my homeboy.
University of Michigan Class of 2014
This is great. Is it linked or stickied somewhere on the website? I was trying to put something like this together that had a spot to list comments or visit dates, so this will be a great resource.
I would never doubt Hoke, when it comes to judging these kids, but according to rivals we haven't offered him yet....

It's tough being Blue in Columbus!!!
the Derek David reply.
It's tough being Blue in Columbus!!!
Appreciate the mention and while I would love to be able to take credit for template, I definitely just used what umhero created so credit to him as well.
Also thanks to bluestreak and others for taking over the 2013 board. Between work and planning a wedding, I've had no time for doing anything with it. Teamwork at its best.
6'10 360?! I hope this is no typo, and I hope we grab him.
And to think he will be a junior. by the time he is ready to play he may be 7'0" - 400 lbs
EDIT: I just realized he is the son of NFL Tackle Orlando Brown who played for the Ravens (he passed away in September 2011).
GMAT score =800 = Defensive POTY
I have it on good authority that he's only 6'9 1/2" and 358 lbs. Those websites exaggerate.
Yeah, I was scanning the list and immediately stopped when I saw his size... he's huge! But then you look at the other OL guys and they are no slouches either. And then the DL guys and they are really big as well.
You can definitely see where Hoke is taking this team. We're going to own the trenches.

Taking bets as to when this class will fill up. The line is set at signing day for the class of '13.
Football is both an identity and a terminal illness. A rhythm and a chaos and an opiate for the mind all at once.

Da'Shawn Hand from Woodbirdge, VA is the real deal. He had 21 sacks as a sophomore. He is friends with Levenberry and is better than him. One of my good friends is his DC and according to his camp results could possiibly end up one of the top 5 kids in the country his senior year. Oh..and he wants to be an engineer. Mattison was there a few weeks ago to offer him. Stoops and Saban called personally to offer him. This kid is going to blow up.
He sounds decent.
I like how he stopped by in person while Stoops and Saban are just calling...

I don't want recruits blowing up. What good is that going to do us when our recruits are exploding?

I have limitless trust in our staff to scout talent at the Sophomore level. I love that we are offering and recruiting guys 2 years from graduating. It really seems like we're setting up pipelines to some great high school programs as well.
It makes me wonder what Urbs would do if he were in this position. How would he know who to offer without Rivals/Scout ratings?
I'm curious why ESPN isn't included in the template?

Screw Lance.
Now that we are wrapping up thsi class while holding out for some even more elite talent, let look forward. Most other school are not even close to starting 2013 and we are jumping into 2014. I think that will be a huge help with the 2014 class because it frees up our coaches to get to work on them while everyone else is still busy picking up our 2013 leftovers. Awesome.
...an offer list for 2054? I'll be turning 100 late that year; it'll give me additional incentive to get the far.

His recruiting mentality is top notch. Get in early on top talent and sell Michigan. Michigan is building and national champion in front of our eyes. The talent influx into Ann Arbor is staggering. No doubt that we start fast next cycle too. We must beat Sparty and Ohio this year to keep the momentum.....Notre Dame too.
Go Blue
I'm extremely curious how good the 3 Cass Tech LB's will be, and if we will offer all of them (Gary Hosey, Deon Drake, and Willam White).

2012 8-5
in more than 9 weeks. We definitely need someone else tracking the 2014 offers.
2014 Offer List BOYCOTT ADIDAS

Got curious about Derek David since we rarely offer JUCOs. Turns out he was a soft commit to Text Tech for the class of 2012 and an early 4 star according to scout. He was however charged for sexual assault and had his scholarship offers rescinded. It's only been a year since then and he hasn't even played a down for his JUCO yet. Anyone think this offer is just slightly interesting? However, I won't doubt Hoke's judgment considering the hard line stance he's taken with some recruits/players already.
